I hate 1.14.4, it's buggy and broken.
@spidernh I recommend clipping software then. I don't know how long you can clip up to but you can basically get footage without recording. Also theres always pointing your phone camera at your screen or something :/ also make sure your mc settings aren't at unlimited and are only at 60 or 30. 30fps isn't exactly bad either, as I record a lot of my classic runs in 30fps
In the discord it was declared banned. You can however use monitor brightening software if its hard to see and you can use OBS filters for brightness on your video
omg what if we made a speedrun where we didnt even play minecraft and just used google's random number generator from 1 to 69,000,000,000,000,000,000 and you had to get good enough rng to get the number 69 and then you finish the run thats pretty cool i would call it 69% and it should be added because it provides strategy!!
i mean tbh any wr that is literally just "spawn in a place where you can immediately die" and stuff are so dumb. and thats coming from somebody who got a tied wr for spawning in front of dirt
idk its probably banned since gamma altering is banned but what do i know
I'm a set seed runner, and whenever I get into my Strongholds on 1.16 I will bug out and glitch in place due to chunks being unloaded. I often fix this issue by simply pausing and un-pausing the game. Try this out in your runs and it should help you.
what if there was a category where you had to die as fast as possible we could call it die% haha am I right fellow forumers
@Salted_Lightly_ Huh? I think you might be on the wrong forum... maybe the wrong game even?
glad to hear that :D
hey I just replied to this problem on your other post but I'll paste it here aswell
to my knowledge, dynamic FOV cannot be turned off without optifine or some 3rd party mod. i did some research on JellySquid mods as those are the only mods that are allowed for 1.16+ (more specifically sodium) and unfortunately those are basically just mods to improve MC performance and don't give you any additional features. it sucks that Mojang hasn't added that feature yet, but I can recommend you turn down your FOV slightly or turn on toggle sprint in accessibility settings so your FOV barely changes.
oh and btw, you don't technically NEED a timer. if you look up SPRT (Slush Puppy Retime Tool) you can retime your run after uploading it to yt so you can analyze it frame by frame to find the exact time. livesplit timers are generally used so the runner and the viewers can see how fast this run is in real time. also i dont see why you need an autosplitter in minecraft theres only 1 split lmao.
hope i could help you w/ this post 😃
