I know its nice for what you wanna run but there's really no point. Just benchmark yourself because nobody except you and like 3 people would run it when everyone else will just learn the skips they're really not that hard yk, especially things like blackrock are extremely easy to learn and anthill you can just practice, there's no dire need to first try it
aint no one gonna run it so no point just pass the skill check
sorry i napped too hard, they are KINDA active and i asked once on the matter, my motivation died to do anything about it but my point stands tall on the matter nonetheless
So there is this game I really enjoy playing casually and it has a speedrun.com page. It's Flood Escape 2 on ROBLOX, which is a game I played since release in 2017, and it's been around for a while the problem with the game itself is it gets a lot of updates as a whole and genuinely becomes off putting to speed run or manage the page, but instead of just calling it there the moderators made a separate category that becomes the main home category, which is just an older, and probably copied with Synapse or something before that was gone. It's stupid for those who want to play main game speed runs because these people have full power over the game as a whole when they genuinely don't deserve to because they're promoting a stolen copy in place of the real thing instead of making it a separate thing, and very lazily managing it at that. What would you even do here?
managing it would be a different story lowkey, cus i usually jump between games i play a lot, so yeah lets just chalk that idea until maybe i change my mind on that
I understand that Crazyblox absolutely butchering the fe2 speed running scene is frustrating as hell, but honestly I feel like something should be done regarding the current patch.
I'd be down to help manage current patch with a few ideas in mind:
Track records by the version: every current record before the latest physics patch would be moved to a dropdown category dedicated to that era, and every update in physics moving on if deemed major enough would warrant another dropdown category (Ex: V61 - V63) and the current category would be (Ex: V63 - Now) Also "Current Patch" would be renamed to something like "Main Game" and Legacy would be combined with this too just to clear up that clutter
I understand it's much more convenient to just play FE2 2021 but it kinda just feels wrong leaving Current Patch up there dead as hell yknow?
Any thoughts would be appreciated, I'd be very down to help set this up too!
yeah honestly if this record was gotten that fast i doubt its the best run in the entire game lol
Bro really got none on the left and all at the bottom that's crazy
This question is on my mind too, what if I hit a group button first but someone else has to hit it, does that still count?
I joined Flood Escape 2 first early after original release in 2017. I want to be a mod to help increase the activity, and refuse to verify my own runs and will let others do that if I get accept because that feels cheesy I should be a mod because personally I feel like I understand the game enough and will benefit this community with my activity for a decent while, and I won't make any slip-ups when verifying, I will watch every run in full.
As shown in Username's POV of the new AVM Duo WR, he lagged at the start which lagged the timer by over a second, maybe closer to one and a half, which should invalidate using the in-game timer, I'm not saying completely delete it, but maybe starting to implicate that speedrun timer to retime any times that this happens to y'know, because 1:38.371 getting the last button is literally impossible and we all know this
If I'm being honest sub 3 glitchless doesn't seem that plausible looking at when you get to 3 this run, given this is pretty much no mistakes from the looks of it
Howsabout we remove times under the old physics that are now impossible to beat, or just move them to another category of some sort, it ruins the point of them being there
