Is it possible @OldWorldGamer to add 1 CC for 1 Player and for Co-Op 2 Players please??
In relation to emulation, for SNES runs I always use Snes9x v.1.58 for some attempts (a lighter emulator working fine for me since I don't have a great notebook), and sometimes using Fightcade 2 that uses Snes9x v.1.60, even though I have never played this game for Super Nintendo port, except for Arcade (Mame, Winkawaks, Fightcade FC 1 and 2). It would be great to enable emulation for future runs, I am not so good at this game but fun to play with 2 Players and/or 3 Players.
The WiiVC versions of 1942 have the NES and Arcade versions, so you can play/run these versions per separate. Obviously, you should show up and confirm that NES and Arcade runs are done in Wii Virtual Console. Therefore, an additional category won't be necessary if WiiVC can freely be suitable to run NES and also Arcade.
Could this series have a main photo/cover please?? Tenchi wo Kurai series have 3 games so far: better have a simple photo as cover than an interrogation cover:
Hello, I have 3 pending runs for the great game Mega Man 1 for the NES ( https://www.speedrun.com/mm1 ), still not verified, especially the first one submitted 21 days ago =/ https://www.speedrun.com/mm1/run/y6601dqy I would like to be moderator of the game pls. Thanks in advance.
Hey @WhoDis well in emulators for Arcade I can give you info about it. In emulators like Winkawaks: you can go >> Game >> Redefine buttons >> There is a "test menu" option when you define the specific key for it, whether keyboard and/or joystick button. "Test menu" >> go to Configuration Menu (number 7) then you go to Game Configuration 7-3 (called Dip Switches) and you can change the diffculty.
Now in emulators like Mame: Press Tab >> Input this game >> go to Service mode and press/redefine the specified button/key for going to Test Menu option and you have to do the same thing as being explained for Winkawaks.
The Easy, Medium, and Hard are just the beginning/the prototype in the leaderboards. Maybe more runners could get more runs for the several difficulties for future/possible more categories cuz there are 8 difficulties in total. The first 3 are just for the beginning, just for now.
The additional info for the sound has been written in the rules, for all loops. The minimum of gameplay sound would be nice for verification.
Hey Zericc.
Yep, the whole game has this non-stop sound during the runs. I know this game for the Arcade during the beginning of the 90's and practically I did assimilate already this "monotonous" sound of the game. The priority of runs submitted in this page require video and audio, and in relation to audio... so probably it is possible to diminish the in-game sound until volume 1 or 2, little bitty sound of the game, and the music you would like listening to... you can do that.
The music not from the videogame, I can think if it this possible (at least for me) to do that, you know... praying that your VOD can be muted by copyright or not.
I can add a rule/info mention that the in-game sound can be diminished until volume 1, volume 2 (definitely not off unfortunately) if you don't really like and want to hear it due to be monotonous. Let me see your opinion about it.
Several days ago, I have been playing some runs with friends using Mame, in 3 Players mode. Is there a chance of adding Arcade 3P Rev 1 and 3P Rev 2 to the leaderboard to add more nice gameplay, please?? Thanks in advance.
