Valientlink: Current super mod is one month inactive and you're already a mod, so I think that's fine.
If it's along the same lines it's probably okay, but I don't really know the context here. You can PM me on Twitch if you want.
Token: They both have active moderators, so I probably shouldn't. The ability to not include series moderators exists so that if moderators want to run games independently of the series they can do so. If you wanna discuss with them, feel free. (We're actually restructuring this soon so that series moderators won't be directly inherited on newly created games. See this topic: www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/cv9x2 )
mac_ai: User isn't totally inactive, and you don't have a run pending or linked.
Brendon_Meares: I'll add you by discretion. The board doesn't seem to have a good reason to be using the individual level setup either.
PvtCb: Contact the current moderator, he's quite active.
This seems like a really niche use case. I think it makes enough sense to just link a video in a guide or in a forum post. I don't think people will know that the obscure run in (15th) place with a dash is a useful guide for learning.
Regarding your first point, I think that long term there should be a way to list "PBs" on profiles without having to submit to boards. It requires a substantial restructuring of how runs are handled currently, though. While the site's primary purpose might not be tracking PBs, some people use it for that, and I think improvements to the site would better support that use. Not having a game currently prevents people from tracking their time for it on this site, which is something people want to do with the site.
Would you want us to break up the series into smaller portions and you guys decide on series moderators and have those users handle the requests via the series forums? One of the next site updates should cover allowing a game to be in multiple series, so we could have a game in the Megaman and Megaman X series for example.
sprilx: Small board, 1 month inactive, you have a run in queue, ok.
swagalina: Sick tweet. If you want to try and get them added, start a forum discussion for the game. Removing someone and adding someone else on a 1 to 1 difference of opinion doesn't solve anything.
Svenne: The game request queue helps us automate the adding of the game and the adding of the first moderator (the person who requests.) I'll add it manually this time, but use the game request form in the future.
Skyrim_Ninja: We don't expect moderators to necessarily have time to verify runs to their preferred level of scrutiny every time they visit the site. Both moderators are relatively active, so it will likely get addressed relatively soon.
DrTChops: Sure, they're quite inactive.
Thanks for the response.
If a group of Megaman moderators wants series moderation and wants us to refer requests for Megaman games through them (through the series forums for example) to try to best resolve the situation, that's something we could relatively easily do. I don't really see the need for any sort of automated system to do this, if this is decided to be the expectation.
My primary concern is that long-term we aren't preventing users from tracking their runs here if they want to.
Wtrohsz: I can move those runs to your other account if you want? (Got to it from your Youtube.)
I've been handling most of these requests. I generally consider these cases to be some of the grayest, most confusing cases on the site, and it's certainly fair to say there are improvements that could be looked at. The point of game request approval is to try to improve the quality of the game list and ideally get decent moderators in place. We've been getting upwards of 50 requests a week lately, which generally takes some time to do a half-decent job with. I'm certainly open to suggestions for better results, but I do have concerns about some of the solutions presented.
There was some discussion numerous months ago about creating an API between the two sites for Mega Man, but the somewhat convoluted system of maintaining this from both sides was difficult to sort out, and no final implementation of this idea came to fruition on our end. It's still a possibility, but it's not being actively pursued at the moment.
Regarding adding boards, the general site policy is to not copy a full list of times without permission. Admittedly these things do need written down to be more clear. It is also unclear whether the idea of 'permission' is to be assumed for all megamanleaderboards games, or if it would need obtained on an individual community basis, so users likely do not want to overstep their bounds with the replication of data. The common case for requesting a game is that a user wants to track their run on this site so they can have all their runs in one common place, and lack of Mega Man boards hinders a user's ability to do this, so they request the game and add their time.
I'll add that I've strongly advocated against preventing users from adding an entire game to this site. I think it is ridiculous to say speedrun.com users can track every game in existence on one site except the ~30 gray cases presented by games with other existing leaderboards. The Megaman community has generally not made any issue out of this idea, but others have and those cases are still horribly ambiguous and confusing.
Parts of the Mega Man community don't seem to want to add boards by their own volition, so is it not reasonable that when someone who plays the game asks to moderate it, that it be added? I understand that people don't like tracking things in two places, but the idea of not requesting the game for over a year and then not liking the situation when someone else wants to request it is difficult to find a solution to. Is it my job to reserve a board because a number of players at another site like theirs better and don't feel like tracking it here, or is it my job to allow a subset of our 23,000 users to submit runs to a game that they might want to play?
Megamanleaderboards tracks numerous games including rom hacks and fangames, and lesser games with very few runs. I'd offer Mega Man Star Force 1 as an extreme example. Do I need one of the two runners' permission to add it on this site? If they say no, are we not allowed to track it?
Addressing all of these points tends to lead to a circular argument. Can we track boards for all games? Do the people who moderate them at MMLB want to maintain them? Should we copy all the MMLB times for games? What if a game doesn't want us to? If the game isn't up to date should it not exist? Can we track boards for all games?
I'm just trying to emphasize how ambiguous this is. I find these to be difficult points to handle even reasonably consistently. I'm open to solutions.
Nixxus: The board was added about 12 days ago. Since on the request game form it specifically points out that "Requested games/series that have not been set up 2 weeks after being accepted, will be deleted." I'm fine with adding you.
Mopsi: The current moderator was last online a week ago, so please try to contact them first.
VideoGameRoulette: It looks like the board could use more active moderation. I recall the previous moderators were offering to moderate for similar reasons, but maybe they don't feel knowledgeable about all the games in the series, and there may be a language barrier. I think it makes sense to add you.
It will generally work better if category discussion happens on the forums themselves, as people who aren't in Skype or Discord or whatever are aware of people's opinions and can participate in the discussion.
There should probably be a discussion on moderators as well, because as I understand some are inactive and/or uninterested, and there appears to be some dissent on who should be super modded vs regular modded.
I'm absolutely fine with the boards being changed to represent consensus, but it's not totally clear (or well documented on the forums for us passersby) what that consensus is right now.
If anyone needs to PM me on Twitch feel free, but I think a collective discussion on the forums is probably sufficient to reach consensus and solve any confusion.
Is the board correctly reverted or do we need to use the backup?
It is my understanding that there wasn't good consensus on the recent changes. The current situation appears to be having multiple people restructuring things to fit their vision, so I am moving a few people to normal mod in hopes that the remaining super mods can resolve the situation. I understand the reasoning behind wanting to utilize the subcategories, however, for a board this large doing this change likely should've warranted more discussion than occurred.
The board category layouts should represent majority community opinion. Site staff has scripts to move this data around within categories if any help is needed to do that.

Gy009: Added because run in queue, small board, somewhat inactive moderation. namesnipes: I'll give it to you because the board has been empty for the 2 months it has existed. Deln: On the forums that he's gonna follow obviously. :) Someone that wants to handle it is probably better than no one.
It's probably able to be done, but the confusion comes largely from the user expectation on inputting times and then displaying times on the board. 3:14 would basically have to be considered 3:14.999 for all intents and purposes. Then like you mentioned, the alignment would be a bit weird in any case. The API would probably pass up 3:14.999 to eliminate ambiguity. For all these reasons it just seems confusing to me.
I removed that account and another that was mentioned and deleted all the runs associated with them. (Most of them were second and third place times.) If the people wish to join the site, they are more than welcome to add their runs (or even to let moderators add their runs), but we shouldn't look to collect every time in existence.
The takeaway: Don't register other people's accounts to put times on a board. Don't register other people's accounts at all.
