I went with case 3 mostly because I don't know what the correct name is for the console version. You can send repeat requests if there are obvious errors.
Yeah, better profile customization of runs is something we want to tackle eventually.
I'll just delete them for now, since they're empty and it's easy enough to re-add them when someone runs them.
I estimate it saves 30-45 seconds to have a player 2 pommy. Well practiced could maybe save a little bit more. Personal opinion it should just be a variable on all the boards to minimize clutter, but then co-op any% would show up higher than single player any% with a run played 30 seconds worse. I personally am fine with that, but could see how others may not be fine with that.
RastaBobby: I bumped the other mods up to super mods, which means they can add others now. I think this will help the concerns. I can't read French.
Racingmonster: Removed.
Cyberdemon531: I added TheMaster, since he seems really active with Left 4 Dead 2.
NirvanaZero000: I sent a Twitter DM to the active moderator. We'll see where that goes.
RealBonner: It looks like it was added now. As additional information, the board is defaulted to console runs currently.
gallamaster: The guideline in this thread is 3 weeks, which we haven't quite reached yet.
srwatcher/FurryWulfz: I'm putting off making changes to this for now. I find arguing about modship on Twitter to get out of hand pretty quickly sometimes. It might be a "functional" solution, but it's a bad "pragmatic" solution, if that distinction makes sense. (I wish we had site PMs. The forums currently should be a pretty good solution if the user actually logs in.)
drgrumble: Added.
EGGyEntertainment: I'd recommend trying to discuss it with the series moderator. Stuff like this can be very ambiguous from the site's perspective, it's hard to get all the details. We can probably delete the banned users' runs if that's the primary source of the issue.
PinkPajamas: Added you on the rest of them.
GhostScit: ok
I'd be fine with adding some additional people as forum mods if we were to code it (which does take time.) I think Gyoo refreshes this thread like 20 times a day though. We have a button to wipe all posts by a user, so it's pretty easy if we're around.
Manix05: I've generally been going with a really metric for deleting accounts. No runs, no posts, offline more than a year, etc. So by those standards, I wouldn't ever delete that account by another user's request. (contrary to other person's post, he has indeed been offline 4 months.)
MrDumDumDugan: Could you send me a Twitch PM to confirm you're the person who owns that Twitch account. The situation is very slightly ambiguous.
I'm thinking it doesn't really make sense to have expansion/DLC tags be hidden from the series page. Having the tag is fine, but checking it maybe shouldn't trigger that behavior in my opinion.
I guess the better solution would be to have the full list of "special tags" be toggleable from the series page.
It looks like they maybe were deleted, else you need to be more specific. I actually don't know much about how the marathon pages work personally, these are probably questions for Pac.
Rejections and Acceptions both get notifications.
Kenanelite123: It sounds like a mod was just added. It looks like your run was processed.
ESL_Kuma: Added
Gyoo: IMO since the original moderator left the site, it makes more sense for a reasonably active site user to moderate than than no one to moderate from a board maintenance standpoint. I think it could make some sense in this particular case. In either case since the message was deleted and there's some dispute, I won't make the change.
Silverpad: It looks like your run was processed.
jo_ninja: If there is an active moderator and the board is being maintained, there is not an inherent need to add more. Please discuss it with the game's moderator, who has the ability to add you.
Boonswoggle7777777: It looks like you were added.
SpeedySpiderSponge: This was my middle of the road solution to adding the game. (I'm pretty sure the board for this particular game existed a while back and was deleted or something.) I'm not personally a huge fan of your attitude in many of your posts prior to even this.
DukeBaird: Added
gallamaster: The metric for inactivity is usually around 3 weeks. (Also I changed the game's abbreviation, because that hurt to look at.)
flametenshi: Added
DCR: Series mods work for some communities and not others. It's not something we want to get rid of. I'd like it if the site could easily hand off new game requests in series to series moderators so that they could be processed by people closer to the games and communities. The removal of the series moderators have no power here button was primarily to create more clarity over who is running games, and to not have a setting that could be clicked to instantly start an argument. There does seem to be some critical mass point at which a series gets too big and the community becomes disconnected enough that having series moderators doesn't make sense.
As a general aside to all, it is possible to give feedback to users in this thread without appearing so confrontational.
AntiGravityMaster: Setting base games has been broken for a while. I can't add. =[
Added the rest.
FurryWulfz: I don't personally have knowledge of how that works, sorry.
Ihavenoname248: The sorting intent of the categories is somewhat intended to be the community's ranking list of the categories. It seems strange to list something visually first (on the left), but want people to look at something else first or by default. I think it generally makes more sense to put things in the order you want people to look at them in.
TARS: Obsolete runs are somewhat poorly handled on the site front-end right now.
We certainly don't need less people on site staff. Social media links are typically handled by Pac. I don't really have an opinion on them.
I added the game being discussed in this thread after discussing what to do with the series mod of the existing series.
Nosbile: That user is usually pretty active, maybe he was offline for a bit. I'd recommend discussing it with him.
Buffet_Time: He wasn't online for 2 months not 12, but I'll remove him since the board has no runs.
LGD: Run pending, added. I go through all of these posts in order even if they get pushed up by other posts.
eddiecatgaming: Popular games generally have active mods and active communities, those games probably don't have an inherent need for more mods.
Wolexi: Since you have runs I'll add you in this specific case.
Ozotuh: I'll consider this change if the message sits a bit longer.
Racingmonster: I don't think there's an inherent need to make a change here. Mods aren't really required to meet some huge standard for activity most of the time, so long as there aren't major issues and runs are being approved by someone. I skimmed your posts and I gathered "He's inactive and I don't like it." The presentation of your posts comes off strongly as argumentative. There are ways to say you're not a fan of inactivity without typing pages of posts.
Darazanjoll: Since 2/3 mods are okay with it and the third isn't particularly active, this is fine.
SuccinctAndPunchy: Series moderators don't auto-inherit any more. I think this situation is better than arguing about whether the old "Series mods have power here" box should be checked or not. I made some changes, including accidentally super modding and then unsuper modding one person to revert my mistake which might've sent them a confusing notification, whoops.
Got behind again, sorry.
zypher_k: Another user has that account name.
