JoshKeys: Run pending, ok
LiquidMikerrs: Please discuss it with the moderators, they are active.
Racingmonster: I'd make a post on the game forums to ask other users to review your run and describe how to replicate the thing you are doing that is being called suspect. The 30 people playing the game would have much better knowledge than me on that matter. Very generically speaking, if no one can replicate a thing in a game, it can be very suspicious. As you point out, most users aren't playing on PS3, so that could potentially be what is introducing the confusion.
Beardy/Syzx: The decision was rushed too fast resulting in the confusion, sorry. Looks like it worked itself out.
Ninjakauz: Try using the game's forums possibly. There are a lot of mods available to talk to.
PojeBunny: Twitch whispers are terrible and I have them blocked. Use actual Twitch "Messages", which are terrible but for different reasons.
Robb: One of the mods has been online recently, try contacting him.
SoakedSock: Ok.
Tridarius: Added due to inactivity.
EDIT: Things seem fixed, need a few days to catch up.
Game Request Processing broke sometime Sunday with some code update that was pushed. I've brought it to the attention of the coders. The requests in pending actions are still in queue, we just can't process them without them breaking and deleting. There are ways to work around this, but they are quite painful.
New requests appear to be going in queue still.
About 3 requests were deleted as a result of the bug, those will have to be resubmitted unfortunately.
The queue was already about 12 days behind as it was, sorry about that.
RC-3P0 / SuperMarioXbox4President : 20 characters is the maximum.
Witchs_Hex: Done. Weird entry in the series reading wikipedia.
avengerscorpion564: This appears to exist here: http://www.speedrun.com/simpsons_wrestling
Acefrog: Done. I think I forgot to do this from game requests, sorry.
Beardy: If you want to take this to my Twitch PMs feel free, I'd rather not continue the back and forth in this thread.
PojeBunny: CMR2005 was apparently added a few weeks ago upon request from staff. It's a pretty normal request. If runners of the game want to PM me their opinions on Twitch I can collect the consensus, but without that it's hard to know who people want modding.
Cappan1: I turned a couple of the boards back over to the series moderators since they were empty.
Awosomeandy12A: It looks like you were added, probably by the mod. Please discuss it with the mods in the future.
Sgitch: It looks like a moderator was added.
ROMaster2: I deleted the board with one run that was apparently duplicated on the other board.
Psyvane: Added due to inactivity.
PrinceFrankie: Run pending, inactive moderator, ok.
ROMaster2: Deleted, thanks.
Benjamin1566: Discuss it with the moderators.
WhiteHat94: Added.
IDK-O-Ligeirinho: Your runs were added in 2 days, which is quite fast. We generally give about 3 weeks.
Noxim: since you have a run pending and it's a small board, ok.
DaRabidDuckie: Run has been pending a month, ok.
Jimbabwe: The mod has only been offline 2 weeks. The guideline this thread gives is 3 weeks.
Dugongue: What ROMaster2 said is accurate. We want to add flexibility for score tracking, the timer mechanism admittedly doesn't well allow that right now.
Drakodan: That's possibly okay in the scheme of things. Most boards don't opt to abide by "no self-verification", so if the default was the "desired option by the most people", I think it would actually be to automatically verify. That said having better tools for boards that want to go that route would certainly be useful.
LaV: Yeah, I don't like that subcategories totally isolate all possibility of comparing something.
Super327: I don't disgaree, but search bar changes are a large task to my understanding.
thatgrapeisaspy: Automated reporting would be very useful; we'd also need to integrate it into a queue on the staff side.
FabbrizioCalamitous: Probably makes more sense as such, yeah.
Julian: I thought you had to have a verified run of the game to submit it currently. I might be wrong on that.
Boomer: Kinda what LaV was mentioning as well. The filter mechanism has a very mediocre visual display and clickthrough right now.
I need to work with Pac and see what the plan is here the next couple months for development. There are numerous items that could be fixed going forward.
Gave Pac a rather lengthy comment about this. Lighnat0r used to do these but he hasn't been around in a while, so Pac needs to go dig through the hooks to do it. I do not like being in a site staff state where we are not quickly restoring backups, that's certainly not good.
I've said the page 'needs overhauled', I don't know that it's happening any time soon at all. SRL hosts a "managed" page so to speak, and we don't currently have mechanisms to manage our page for the most part. It would also introduce additional day-to-day maintenance effort to manage the page.
You can send me a Twitch PM if you want but I'll need to know the game obviously. The site logs forum posts and run processing which usually tells most of the story.
Ozotuh: Ok
Balletdancergabe31: It looks like you were added. Series mods are allowed to add the games and set them up for runs if desired.
drewlmd: Generally the answer is ask on the game page forums, however, since you don't have a run I doubt they're going to add you.
daedlus: It looks like you were added.
kohlmannm: You posted like twice in two days. I don't read this thread daily or I would probably lose my mind. Since the run has been pending a long time this is fine.
AntoninZeKing: If you had a run pending, I'd probably add you.
gavinscousin: I'd recommend making a forum post on the game(s). I don't know if they want PC tracked in the same game or separately. I also can't see a run by you, possibly becuase your youtube link doesn't work.
Marrow: I think Streetpass was deleted for being empty or something? Then I re-added(?) it based on your earlier post and forgot to add you as a moderator until you posted because I am dumb.
ROMaster2: I'll try to go through this another day. It's a lot to look at.
KPCzombie: Added.
Someone000: Reviewing things and trying to recall from memory. My recollection is either the board was just empty and/or the categories were set up poorly, so I added him after he made a post in this thread in late February on that basis. You may have also been inactive at that time, I don't recall the specifics. The site log suggests the board was empty, but it's possible the log isn't logging something relevant.
PojeBunny: This situation is complex. I'll add you back as super moderator for now since you self-removed a few weeks ago, but I'm not going to remove him at the moment. Reviewing the logs, it does not look like the moderators were neglecting to verify your runs in the order of the queue. It's hard to say definitively without a very thorough review, but it really doesn't look true to me. Series moderation is in somewhat of an ambiguous hierarchical state still and the order people were added with regard to this game also makes things complex.
Beardy: I think it's at least fair to say that two people in a disagreement in this thread aren't going to successfully moderate a game together. I current manage how the game request form gets processed, and I think arguing about who did a week 1 speedrun first is ridiculous.
SpectreXS: Added.
(More in next post)
ROMaster2: Since the games are named two different things I think either both boards should exist or one board needs both names included. Probably works slightly better with separate boards.
Marrow: New series requests can go through the game request form in the future. I added it.
S./ROMaster2: Yeah it badly needs its own tag type.
Xcvazer: Ok
I'll ping Pac to restore from 2 days ago or fix this in the database, might take a bit as he just recently moved again.
Cosmo39: A prominent runner previously used that name or slight variants of it and it would likely cause confusion to give it to another user. Your Twitch URL had the wrong numbers at the end of it apparently. I changed that too.
Bat/batouttahell24: I don't know about login issues. The site had a few hiccups this week, is this working now?
foxytalesxiii: Max length is 20 characters. ClocksStrikesThirteen is 21.
Yeah that's expected and intended behavior. Someone deleted it now.
It will get taken care of, no real need to post about it.
It might mean only a full mod can do that, can't recall. We restricted that a bit at some point.
