the game has an unbelievable amount of in game leaderboards for both speedrunning and score running, people in the necrodancer community are content with those and tend to stick with them. the only reason the src page had any categories at all was because there were no low% leaderboards in game, but now that there are this page is kind of dead

I think a good way to make the Multiple Games categories more accessible would be to add a third category where you get all the Gifts for each of the games. This would take significantly less time and still allow you to play every game at least a little bit.

I think changing the settings for Bushido Ball should be banned, or that there should at least be a separate category for playing with default settings. Currently the Bushido Ball WR strat is to set the game to hyper speed and just lob the ball so that the opponent can't hit it, causing the game to be extremely uninteractive. This is fine for a speed game if it's what other people prefer, but I personally would like to run default settings and still be able to have a reasonable chance to get a top time.

I strongly believe the Mooncat Gold Cartridge run should be split up into 3 separate categories, one per egg you can get. This way each route/boss can get an equal amount of love and attention.

it's been confirmed that it's possible to get all 30 berries and beat the game without grabbing any walls. it's also possible to beat the game dashless. it's still being worked out how many berries are possible dashless and jumpless but at some point once we've settled on some solid numbers it may be fun to add categories for max berries dashless and max berries jumpless

I know Fewest Stamps is a category, what about maximum stamps? Or something similar like highest money score at the end of a run? I enjoy going for personal best money scores on my own by trying to get through as many people as possible every single day, and I think it has potential to be a neat category

It would be really nice if NMG was something that applied to more categories, like Death Wish, or ATP. Firstly it's incredibly unfair that people that wanna run ATP or Death Wish but don't want to use glitches are already at a massive disadvantage and could never hope to be competitive. Secondly, some people (like myself) think the glitches are a lot of the times really not fun to watch.

there should really be a 100% category, unlike other punch out games this one actually has extra stuff beyond the fights until the credits and it makes no sense that it's completely not included in any speedrun categories
