One way to do that is to rename "Marathon%" to "Marathon% (Pre-whatever)" and make it Misc. Then just create a new category called "Marathon%" which will be for all up-to-date characters. That way, you don't delete anything and people can still check out the older runs.
@pasrc true, i use that to re-time non-youtube runs.
Probably not. They're currently not accepting PVP-based games with no actual story/campaign pve mode, even if the categories were to not be PVP.
On Tuesday, April 14, 2020:
Echo will be released to live servers, so the All Heroes and Damage subcategories of the Practice range will be reset. The current runs will be moved to All Heroes (Pre-Echo) and Damage (Pre-Echo) respectively. People will still be able to submit runs to those if they want, without including Echo of course.
Echo will also be added to the PR Individual Heroes category.
Also, for consistency, we will be changing when the timer stops in Practice Range runs (solo only, not including the Duos category). Timer will now stop when the last bot dies, same as with the Individual Heroes category. We will re-time the affected runs in the current leaderboards.
If you have any questions, let us know!
It's been re-timed and also moved to the "(Pre-Havana)" category since Havana wasn't available when he did that run.
It wasn't really received well when we first added the categories. Lots of lucio surf runners simply didn't want to submit their times here, since they already had an established leaderboard that they were comfortable with. If the majority of the active runners would like to move their leaderboards here, then we can work from there.
Thanks for bringing it up! We haven't re-timed it yet, but I'll do that today :)
Hi, so when I finish the game, with any ending, it doesn't take me to the main menu right away. When it ends, a screen appears that shows me what ending I unlocked. Then on the bottom it has an option to return to the main menu.
In the current runs, I don't see this ending screen, it just goes straight to main menu. How do I get it to skip the ending screen and go straight to the main menu after finishing?
Yea! The pro title appears when one completes the map with all heroes right?
We have a few parkour leaderboards here: https://www.speedrun.com/overwatch_category_extensions/individual_levels
Show us your full run of the Hanamura map and we'll add that code to the list.
No problem, good luck!
The rules do not state that the bots need to be randomized, so yes, you can choose which bots are on your team and the enemy team, as long as there is only 1 of each hero on both teams.
Luckily there is a Real Time (Aided) category :)
