it's for individual heroes. for grouped roles like your example, we can add that to the regular PR category as sub-categories if people want :)
we had it here also: https://www.speedrun.com/overwatch#Practice_Range
I would be down to add the other speed trials, but I can't find a list of all of them. I know there's also "Against All Odds" - are there other ones? ILs seems like a good idea too.
And for score leaderboards, I would say no since the main focus should be speed, but if a good amount of runners would like it (and they have recorded runs already), then perhaps we could add them.
@qimmeq Nice! I added the All Achievements category.
For when the run ends, I chose to make it when the full list of achievements is shown rather than when all are clicked on (like in your vid). So your time would be 1:22:55. But if you really want it to end when all are clicked on, I can change it to that instead since you're the first runner for it :)
It's not a valid run since it doesn't show the "Ending Training" countdown. Also, it's better to wait until the checklist appears to start moving, since you just waste time waiting for Bloodhound to shut up :)
@Sizzyl oh mb barely saw this. I ended up using the QUERY function!
=QUERY(Data!$D:$H,"Select F, MAX(G) WHERE D = '"&H3&"'"&if(G3="GLOBAL",""," AND E = '"&G3&"'")&" GROUP BY F ORDER BY MAX(G) desc LIMIT "&J3&" LABEL MAX(G) 'SCORE'")
The main problem in the query function was happening when I chose to display more than the Player and Score columns. If anyone played a 2nd game on a different region or with a different hero, it would display those scores as well.
So I chose to just show Player and Score (F and MAX(G)) and then just use INDEX & MATCH to pull specific region and hero data that matched with the Player, Score and Mode.
And that did the trick. Global scores now only show top scores from each player, and the same for regional scores if selected.
Here's the link if anyone is curious about the formulas I used / wants to check out the leaderboard I built: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1s6GQf3Rk-mgoVEVZnknLisq5L7Agd2Swb8oMuh4q-H4/edit?usp=sharing
(the Player Dashboard sheet isn't completely finished yet tho)
Never mind, 6 hours later I figured it out B)
Hey so I created a score-based leaderboard in google sheets (just from watching youtube videos, cuz I don't really have much experience in excel/sheets) but I noticed that the same player shows up more than once if they played on a different region or used a different character. I don't know how to hide lower scores.
I basically just want to replicate the "Regions/Platforms (characters in this case) obsolete each other" options that SRC has, to only show a player's best score.
I can help out. I verify runs pretty much every day, plus I retime with https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/
Edit Game -> Variables -> New variable -> name your variable -> New value(s) -> name your values -> click the 3 dots next to "New value" -> Edit variable -> click on "Use as sub-category" -> apply proper Level and Category -> Save
If you're adding sub-categories to already existing runs, make sure to click on "Set the default for all runs without a value."
Not that important, but it'd be nice to be able to hide or just deprioritize some of our runs. For instance in a 4-player category, if I have a 5th place run and a 1st place run, I'd rather only the 1st place run show on my profile, without me having to unlink myself from the 5th place run. I guess kinda how obsolete runs work.
Actually I think I figured it out haha, works like 98% of the time.
- Hug the wall
- Jump
- Press Sprint 2 times (one to cancel, then another to continue sprinting)
Hey is there a more consistent way of jumping up onto the wooden platform (when we have to follow Ying)? I tend to miss the jump, and it just feels like luck if I get it right.
Yea actually you can check any queue here: https://randomidiot13.github.io/queueclient-web/ Just put the abbreviation that the leaderboard uses. For example Resident Evil 2 Remake uses re2remake etc.
If the leaderboard has a gigantic queue, it will take longer to load btw.
- i don't know what that means, i have zero experience with api
- thanks, the brackets by themselves work just fine :)
having a dropdown list of usernames when submitting a run would be nice tho.
I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but make entering names when submitting runs better.
Probably make it so options show up like when you use the main search bar up top. Also, having the option to have the name unlinked (without having to add random extra characters), in case any runner doesn't want it linked, would be cool.
