Yeah, you're right @Bismuth...my major-point wasn't the notification, but another question: How do you reject runs THEN, if you don't have the video as a decision. I'm totally in, that the community should be free and open. But how to determine cheatos then? You see..?

so...if something like this ( https://www.speedrun.com/run/y8qx621y ) happens to be in my notifications as "wr beaten", does it mean, this LB doesn't force video-proof? you guys think, that'd be a good idea? i mean, how many people will try to cheat them a wr? even if it only lasts for a few hours...you can screenshot it and show all your i-net friends how great you are? i would put this measure in place...

if you mark "notify for new wr fullgame run in followed game" in the settings (global / here explicit), then you wont miss anything! :)

i think we run in a bit of a problem, because its not your and your friend's run anymore...i cant say im doing solo, but half of the time the current wr-holder controls the buttons, either...

fact is that you cant mention 3 runners in a submission, but (im not trying to incite someone to cheat) seriously: if you didnt post this at all and just submitted including only 2 players, no one wouldnt have ever noticed :o or did you record your whole room with a cam instead of just screen in the video?

it will definitely be accepted! you only crashed your (probably good) time :) the only rule is to reset the console/emu before starting a run/the timer. but what you do after that is completely up to you. you can also beat bowser at 1:50:00 and let the timer run for another 5 hours to then finally collect the big star (<-- dumb, i know...but should clarify, what i meant by saying "up to you")

if you do a mistake e.g. by exiting a course your run's invalid neither :)

@uberphenom: right, they wont get recogniton, but neither will the people on place (e.g. fake time 1:34 on 145th) 146th with a real (honest) time of 1:37. they of course get also no recognition without the fakes, but for a personal standing: they feel worse then than they actually are. seems marginally only, but think of, what COULD happen, if you open up all the free-entry-doors...i mean, i dont run this game, im not mod, i didnt join discord, i dont care about wr, but its simply not fair. but thats not mine, not yours, not our all decision, let the mods dicuss and discharge their duties. :)
