It was released as a VC game as a while before it got taken down, am I allowed to submit runs on 3DS?

I did 100% a bit on stream, I got 4th or 5th place but I didn't submit the run. I can definitely improve though.

Nice! I'm pretty burned out from Cat Planet after playing non-stop trying to get WR before you did lol. I do plan to come back though. Just wondering, how much did you play at that time?

How much time would this save on digital?

I really doubt he'd hide it from others. He seems too nice a guy to do that. Then again I don't really watch his stream so...

Also before you speedrun this game, learn how to play, if you thought about that for a second you'd realize that it's impossible for the middle one to be a mine.

It took me a while to get used to, but when I first started running the game I was using completely wrong strats. After I found out about the ones I use now it's really easy, and I get through factory 95% of the time. Funny how factory used to be my 2nd most inconsistent area. Now it's probably my most consistent :p

By the "giant machines backwards" do you mean the first 2 rooms? They're super easy to get down once you know what you're doing.

Alright, I thought my method was slower, not going to change it though. I've got a really consistent factory and, while not perfect, is maybe 1s off perfect with my strats done perfectly. To be honest, there are 2 spots that I really need to practice.

1. Fire Cave death abuse towards the end
2. Underworld

I'm going to grind both of them and do some more attempts tomorrow. At this point I can do the rest of the run just fine, I just can't do these 2 things consistently. I doubt my lava caves 1 will ever improve and my factory... barely, and only if I really, really grind. It's after factory where the hard part starts.

hoooooooly shit. Just had a 50.x pace run, went too far too the right when falling and killed the run. Oh well.

Oh also, the reason I don't enter underworld already falling is because if you are flat on the ground and just hold right the whole time until you reach the bottom, you come out on the right every time. Your method is slightly faster if done perfectly- but it's pretty luck reliant- you have to have really good timing + hope you don't bounce around at the bottom, losing more time than you would've saved. That factory in your any% No OOB run was pretty unfourtunate- but that falling strat after the purple switch is SICK- how do you do it? It seems pretty inconsistent, my PB has a consistent method which, while not necessarily faster, again, works almost 100% of the time.

Oh, I see what you mean. I'm not sure if it would be faster, I'd say maybe a second at most, done perfectly? You have to fly down a bit extra and fly up a bit extra, and I'm not 100% sure the deaths make up for it.

That's stupid IMO, IIRC other glitches are harder and more inconsistent than moat skip. And why do every major skip except 1?

It seems the OOB glitch is pretty much just reliant on luck. I'm not 100% sure what you mean when talking about the route change- I'll watch the vid when it's verified. As it's reliant on luck, I'd say do neutral (medium?) jumps instead of small jumps to get OOB. In fact I sometimes use big jumps, just because you're more likely not to miss the jump once you've lined yourself up with a neutral jump, as the bigger the jump, the harder it is to change your horizontal velocity a lot, like you can with lots of little jumps.

The half-forest half-lava glitch has happened to me too. I think that crow room glitch has also happened to me.

Incorporating OOB in 100% would be awesome, and I've thought of trying to route it, but the cats are spread pretty evenly around the game, so I don't think this will ever happen without a MASSIVE route change. The only thing I can really think of is getting OOB to save time in getting the cats in the upper forest section, just above the underworld and lava bit.
