@-Ender-
Please keep in mind that using this thread is a last resort, in case the current moderators are not responding or refusing your help without justification. You should always start by asking the Super mods of a game/series as they are also able to add mods. Best way to contact game mods is probably through Twitter for now. Also try the game forums, many users get notifications when threads are created for games they follow.
You can do runs of it without being mod.
Just don't feel bad about a bad time for the first time. I heard from one of the Majoras Mask top runners that his first time was over 5h, which is almost last right now. Now he's not one of the last but rather one of the best.
You beat all Bosses in Peachs Castle on a already completed save file and at the end the harder Bowser fight on the moon.
Rules: Timing starts when you enter the first picture and ends when you shoot out of the electric wire in the escape sequence.
What about doing a full-game run without collecting any coins. Saving and loading different files is allowed as long as your only using files created in the same run
/edit: Could be any%, Dark Side, Darker Side and World Peace actually, maybe add these as sub-categories?
This is because Weebs from america selected asian countries so it's not possible to select it unless your actually in the country. (Also, I doubt that your actually North Korean)
Well I don't own any Hori controllers but theyve been around super long and from what Ive heard theyre not bad. Maybe try one out?
Yeah, the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is the best one, I don't have it but I heard they fixed some stuff on it so it's even better than the other ones. And NEVER connect it to your PC and use it as a Controller there because apparently the Controller doesn't work on the Switch then, happened to me .... twice.
Well, old consoles are already expensive, some games even more so it's almost a waste to buy them just to speedrun (or even play) some of these games. For Emulators you only need a PC tho' (at least if you get the games the illegal way...) so I would say for people that don't own these old consoles, Emulators are way better.
For people that do own old consoles tho' it's a bit harder. But still, if emulators are accurate enough, there's no reason to not use them since it's way easier to use: Connect the controller and start the Emulator.
@IlluminaTea Could be edited. I actually have no problem with picture proof for hard to record consoles like Handheld consoles but I feel like especially good times should have a video because for those games you could easily cheat a WR with some editing skills.
/edit due to IlluminaTea's new post: Of course everything can be edited but its much harder to do it realistic with videos.
There are new runs for me, maybe it's because of your settings? You can change it here: https://www.speedrun.com/Ponatix/settings/frontpage
I got the same problem sometimes, I usually get motivation a few days later tho'. Maybe watching some vids about that game could help getting motivation for it back?
I guess your talking about in game timer (IGT).
The point of a time is to see how fast someone is, with negative times this would be gone unless you already know how the game works. So I don't think this should be implemented.
Mario Party 9 Bossrush: everything went well, even the RNG Boss at the beginning, got a timesave of 1 minute, a nearly perfect run! Just to get completely destroyed by the second last Boss due to terrible RNG. I still got the WR but it still wasn't a good time...
Hi, I asked about 3.5 months ago on the Mario Sports Mix Forum & Discord if they could add new categories, I never got a response. A bit later (don't know exactly when) I asked a Super Mod of that game but he didn't respond either. 3 weeks ago I desided to ask all Mods on Twitter, I did get a response and he said that he will add me as a mod once hes home, even after remembering him a few days after he never did that and no categories were added. Thanks for a response in advance.

Maybe add a feature that automatically sets the filter to "Consoles and Emulators" and ignoring the games settings or at least that the site saves the filters you used last time? It's a bit annoying when I need to do that every time on my own, which is very often the case as one that's interested in Mario Party speedruns (which all hide it on default).
