It's the outside edge of the starting area. You get here by going to the climbing ring on the first level and gliding back. And then the timer restarts once you leave an area around the tower. Although the climbing glitch that was used to climb the rock from this direction has been patched, so this start is no longer possible.

Don't stress too hard about this, but if you're going to be at the top of the leaderboard, I'd encourage you to find a way to provide at least partial video proof of your run. I won't reject any runs if you can't because I understand getting a recording from your Switch is a lot of work, but I think it would be healthy for the leaderboard if we could figure out a middle ground. Again, no big deal if it is a lot of extra work but I wanted to put the idea out in case you can think of a good alternative for proofs for the leaderboard. Thanks!
