Maine, USASorry I don't run titan there is an armor piece for titan that gives more heavy ammo per drop. EDIT- i fixed it in the original post it was the ruin wings exotic gauntlets
It all depends on the mission you decide to run Titan is the best on any mission that involves a lot of non sparrow movement. Titan is also the preferred class in full game because of ruin wings armor piece. But any mission that doesn't involve a lot of moving on foot hunter is the most commonly used. Hope this helps out.
I have recently discovered a glitch when activating the ghost that cancels the animation and save a few seconds. all you have to do is hold y when there's a quarter left on the activation circle

You don't have to have it on the light levels since i run every mission on easy difficulty and don't have that issue.
That to me sounds like a glitch in the system since you should be able to spawn your sparrow at the start in every mission but exclusion zone. I'm sorry I can't help you out any further hopefully it all just fixes itself for you.
I have just created the segmented CO-OP run and we have the time down to 1:06:46 which can be dropped. Sadly I don't think 1:05 solo is possible with currant route but that's alright.
The next time update will occur the day the taken king DLC comes out because the DLC could change the runs entirely. So lets try to grind out these mission times before the DLC comes out. Good luck everyone lets go for 1:05 time.

Me and Ringtext found out that activating the sparrows overdrive rapidly gives you an insane speed boost. ScaRdrow has made a video showing how to do the boost fast along with general tips
Congrats to Ringtext for dropping the time down to almost sub 1:14 in the past few weeks. he has been dropping record time by over 30 seconds recently which has dropped my estimate to sub 1:12:30 which is doable with a lot of work. I will cut the segmented run videos once the monthly time update has reached and there's a video for all the record runs. Good luck to all the runners.
I am currently in the process of creating a segmented speed run video for the game and am only missing a few record videos. These are the only missions that don't have a record video The Warmind, The Sword of Crota, A Strangers Call, Ishtar Collective, The Archive, Exclusion Zone, The Buried City. Hope we can get these done quick so I can get this segmented run made and published. Good luck to everyone.
I have removed all of the DLC segmented runs from the sheet due to the fact that the time goes up every time new DLC comes out. This community has helped bring the time down to a 1:17:24 and absolutely destroyed my original estimated time of 1:20. My new estimate it 1:15 which is doable. Good luck to all of you out there.
I am sad to announce but I am officially retiring from competitive destiny speedrunning after I beat The Dark Within WR. This choice has been in my mind for a few months now and I've made my choice. All of the serious grinding I have done through this game has sucked all of the fun out of it. I will still be moderating the site and updating the segmented speedrun for this game which has just made an insane drop in time from when I started the run. The only time I will come back to running this game is if my dark within gets beat which is really unlikely. Good luck on all of the future runs you will all be submitting and all of the new records. I was aware of the lack of support the RTA runs get I've gotta be honest I think the any% non NG+ will not get any attention since I don't know anyone that would delete one of there 32 characters just to do a speed run. I made sure to make a post in the forums before doing anything to the leader boards which was good thinking on my part since you and the other mods were here first.
I actually enjoy side mission only its the only RTA I run a lot.
I've been thinking about some new misc category run that would be a good addition to the leader boards. The runs would be NG+ Earth missions and the same for the rest of the planets. The other idea was NG+ side mission only and NG+ main missions only. These runs were apart of forums on the SDA forums and I think they could be a great addition to the leader boards.
Alright I'll give this a read and thanks for being so cool with all this. It kinda hit me hard when I was removed cause I thought I was doing a good job.
