Hi, no mods have rejected any 1st place runaway run. If a run was removed it was most likely by the runner themself.

I'm happy to announce that we are now verifying DLC runs!

DLC runs will be timed with the IGT along with its milliseconds. Use of any OOBs is not allowed, along with playing in "Trainer Mode", and using the Infinite ammo accessory "Cat Ears".

Yes, you are allowed to use them. They contain no in game advantage.

Hello runners, In regards the the release of Ghost Survivors We will be holding off on verifying runs from the DLC.

This is so the mods can play threw and iron out any rules or changes that may need to be applied

Low% is Knife only. Its been stated in the rules since the start that "Only the knife is allowed for this category" excluding Leon for the Croc and Tyrant. Using the gun to Skate ruins the whole point of making this category and thus wouldn't truly be a knife only run. You can use the Knife and Flashlight to skate. if you wanna use the gun do a category that allows you to do so.

Also Rules are changing because this is a NEW GAME. Where still making the rules, setting the roots down. New things are popping up every single day guys. Please understand that.

To clarify some rules on the "True Ending" category. True Ending is considered single segment. Runs A and B are 1 run. This means if you Reset on a B run ( Leon 2nd or Claire 2nd) you must restart all the way back at A.

Runs are submitted with the Sum of both runs.

If your old run has been verified your new run will automatically replace it. If your old run is still waiting to be verified we can either reject it or you can delete it yourself

Hi, "double submission" means you submitted two runs with the same VOD, Time, and category. I rejected one of them and we will get to verifying the current submitted one when we get a chance. No need to resubmit. :)

Hi, You can record without a mic. I do along with a few others. "All runs must have Game and Microphone audio only" We say this because there is a no music rule, not counting sounds from your twitch stream (i.e sounds from followers/subscribers or someone hosting.) There's a music rule for two reasons 1. being your VOD can be flagged from playing music thus making your entire VOD muted. 2. its annoying for us mods to verify a run while you got music blasting lol it also makes it harder to verify your run.

If you're playing on PC there are a few categories that require a Livesplit (No Guest House, End Of Zoe) any other time a live split is just for your benefit and not needed. "Is this the time displayed on the final statistics screen at the end of the game?" Yes, Showing the difficulty at the beginning of a run and the end Game stats screen is required. We time IGT (In Game Time) showing that screen confirms the time and is used to submit your run.

Hi, the difference between Easy and Normal is very small. Enemies with slightly more health and a few items that are in different locations. A lot of speedruns dont add the normal category simply because... well, its not the fastest lol. Normal is to much like easy for us to have a need to add it in.
