United StatesHi, The Glitched category has now been changed to Any% I moved all the NG and NG+ Glitched runs together into one category. (including your obsolete runs)
Glitched categories are now named "Any% (PC)" "Any% (Console)"
The category will now be a true any% with the goal of running the game as fast as possible.
Also moved it out of Misc. tab hopefully allowing the category to get more attention.
Rules have been unchanged, pulled from the original NG+ Glitched Rule Set. I hope you all enjoy it and with this lets see how fast we can push this category to its limits! :)
So to bring the topic of the Glitched runs back up again (since we never really settled on what to do with it) I really like Hazeblade's idea on handling the runs. So i would like to know what the rest of the community thinks about it too.
Currently we are seriously considering combining the NG and NG+ runs together and re name the category as Any%. (since that is really what it is)
the difference of NG and NG+ is little and this will also make the "Glitched categories" more organized and look a lot better.
So what do you guys think? :)
Im gonna ask to please be respectful of everyone's opinions, there's a lot of runners on this game and not everyone is gonna agree.
The reason why I chose RTA is because the IGT is actually broken.
At the start of the game the IGT begins after the load That is where the RTA timer also starts
So how the timer is broken is this. In the beginning before the first encounter with the paper ghost the IGT is always running, weather you are in the Stats menu (Yin House, Archives, Diary, Puzzle) or the pause menu, it is always running.
After that first encounter the IGT changes to a different timing method the IGT will stop if you are in the pause menu or stats menu.
Another thing is if you die too, the IGT will revert back to the timing method of the beginning (timer always running in pause or stats menu)
It's really strange, So just to keep things accurate, runs will be timed by RTA. where I have the timer start and end is actually the same spot where the IGT starts/ends so it works out well. Also there is only one load in this game, and the timer starts after that load so no need to worry about load time advantages.
@SuperKingAndy Sorry I wish I had the answer to fix it. I went and posted this in the RE2 remake discord for ya. Hopefully someone will see it and can help you out.
The end game stats screen must be displayed to know the IGT. That is the time we go by and submit to the leaderboards. If he does not show it his run can not be accepted. We are not voting on this it would not be fair.

Hi, For anyone that is not on our discord I'd like to let you know we are moving the DLC runs from "level Leaderboard" to "sub Games"
We're doing this to organize them a little better and allow them to be displayed more proudly on runners profiles.
We're still in the process of moving the runs (even your obsolete runs too :) ) so if anyone has any DLC runs you'll be getting notifications saying "a run has been submitted on your behalf" don't worry that's just us lol.

This was discussed long ago. The community decided to keep runs mixed. (plenty of other boards do the same thing) The rule has already been declared And settled. You have ways to buy Cero D , it's completely your choice if you decide to or not but don't claim that its unfair. welcome to speedrunning
We looked into doing this early on, but in order for a run to be 100% you would have to completely delete your save files since things like the Mr. Raccoon's carry over. It would also make it really hard for us to keep track of all the items since there is no statistic screen of some sort that can tell us you got everything.
Edit - That and there is currently waaaay to many categories already lol
We are looking more into this everyone.
That being said since he did make his video private that shows suspicion that he did cheat. Because of this his run will be rejected and @umedajapan you will continue to hold the WR.
One side note I do want to add, for everyone if you suspect a run has been cheated it would be better if you DMed a Mod first. It allows us to look into the run quietly without setting off the suspected cheater to say... private all his videos getting rid of the proof for further punishment.

Hi, when i first looked at your run it showed loss of frames. Looking at it now its not there anymore. Which is weird lol but I'll re watch this run for ya :)
