I'll explain: there are a few multiple game runs that SRC registers with a time system like this: every 24 hours is converted to 1D (one day). I don't like that system because I'd like to know exactly how many hours someone took to finish a speedrun. So, everytime this is done, I need to do the math to convert days to hours. Is there a setting to change that for me?
So, I'm trying to search the site for RPGs that can be completed in a really fast time, like 30 to 40 minutes at max. Does someone have an idea about how I could find that with the search feature?
Thanks.
I run a few games where I honestly don't have the illusion I'll get WR or even close to that, and I'm not pursuing it either. But I'd like to get "decent" times at these games. In one of these, I'm about 15 minutes from a time I'd consider decent, and in the other game, I'm around 1h20m from a time I'd consider at least acceptable.
The problem is I can't find a way to know what I'm doing wrong and the tutorials generally give very advanced techiniques that I don't feel capable of doing. I'm not about to go after top runners asking because I don't want to bother anyone with that. But I also feel very dissatisfied with my current times. What do I do?
Hello, I'm getting pretty annoyed because certain runners keep spamming IL runs from a few games I follow and every day I have 10+ notifications that these runners have beaten the WR for lots of different ILs. How can I disable this kind of notification, so that I don't see pointless 1 minute WRs all the time?
Hello, guys. So, I don't speedrun Mario games myself, but I enjoy watching speedruns from this series ocasionally. And one kind of Challenge I like is Super Marihour. But I have already watched a few runs of this challenge and I'd like to know if there are similar challenges for other games. Like... A Sonic Hour ou Earthworm Jim Hour... You get what I'm saying.
Hi, I'm interested in running this game since some time ago, but the long length has turned me off. What I'd like to know is if there are any glitches that could potentially save time in this game.
It could be anything, an OP item, a glitch that helps me skipping large portions of the game... Also, how did you (shin1005) get enough exp in your run even by skipping many battles?
Thanks.
Hello, today I became the Super Moderator for Yakuza: Black Panther (PSP). I'm trying to set up two main tabs: Emulator and Console. How do I add them and how do I put my other categories under these two tabs (which means, before someone selects any specific category, the person needs to select the tab)?
Hello, guys, I want to run a NDS game and submit it to a leaderboard, but I don't know how I could record it. I bought a tripod, but the problem is that it stays in front of the screen and it's unavoidable that I shake the console a little while playing.
So, is there a way that I could capture gameplay from my NDS itself, considering it's and old console nowadays?
Thank you.
Hello, everyone, I speedrun my games on Android usually, and I use Floating Speedrun Timer for Android currently. But my main problem is that this timer is closing by itself after around 20 minutes and this is ruining many of my runs.
Does someone know a good Android timer? Thanks a lot.
Hi, recently I have played Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep quite a lot and I was able to establish some World Records on PSP Version. But now I feel like I've reached my limit (at least for some time) with it. My PBs are not progressing anymore and I think it would be nice to have some other ARPGs that have this kind of structure (divided by characters campaigns), because if you play just one campaign, it's a shorter speedrun and it's easier to practice and do lots of runs.
Does someone have any recommendation for me?
Boa noite, gostaria de saber se seria possível incluir uma categoria para o PS Vita, pois a Collection foi lançada para ele e, no meu caso, é a única plataforma na qual eu tenho acesso aos dois jogos.
Muito obrigado.
Hi, I'm opening this thread to ask if it's possible to accept or include runs of Resident Evil done on ePSXe Android 2.0.14.
I've got experience running NDS version (Deadly Silence), but I run games on Android Emulators using my Dual Shock 4 paired up with it. Unfortunately, after months of training, I won't be able to submit my speedrun of DS Version because I can't use Desmume (don't a PC Gamer for it).
And Bizhawk/PSXJin are PC only emulators. I have a PS Vita and the game bought with me, but I have no way to record the screen and play in a reasonable way.
Is there a possibility to accept other emulators? Thanks.
Hello, I'm just creating this thread to ask if it's possible to accept runs done on Drastic Emulator. Android doesn't have Desmume, and Drastic is the only good emulator for the platform.
I have a Nintendo DS with me, but it's complicated to record gameplay from the console itself, and I don't have a PC to play emulators.
Thanks.
Hello, I'm sorry to bother you guys, but I've submitted my run by accident under PSP Any% category. My intention was to submit it for Emulator Beginner. If you could just erase my submission for PSP Category, I'd be very pleased.
Thanks a lot.
Hi, I've submitted my God of War: Chains of Olympus Run on Easy Glitchless under the wrong category.
I ask that, if possible, moderators delete my submission for Any% NG+. The right category is Easy Glitchless on PSP (played on PPSSPP Emulator).
Thanks a lot.
