I'm not a moderator, but I say yes do that. When one of the Mods at the time added the timing rules for the game, they must've copied and pasted the Any% run rules over to the IL Any% runs. I say start the time when you press "start assignment", like in the written rules, and stop timing when you lose control of your character. Do follow the Red Brick rule. If you have a better timing method then use that instead.

Was that recorded, or just testing languages?

I have had the crashed on me quite a few times on the disc, but I never once had the game crashed on me when played it on the downloaded version (American English system language). I don't know what cause the game crashes, but it's odd that it's happening to Trajan so often.

That's why I suggest a break if you do a great achievement (i.e. sub 5 any%). I will run (the game) soon, just have to finish up on some stressful things that's in the way for me to enjoy life.

I found an interesting thing about stealing the car for Chan. I lost a heart, during an untimed practice run, and decided to lose some more hearts down to 1 left. I delivered the car to him in that manner, and he says, "YOU COMPLETELY DESTROYED IT! But, you did delivered it rather quickly so I guess I can trust you." I have never heard that before ever. I'll post a link to a spread sheet about how long the dialog lines are Here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JTJ82N2FlEnP2Sok-ga3arkM0lmd56P0V3a_p3OC33M/edit?usp=sharing

I'm not sure right now. Maybe I'll make a guide showing the various super bricks locations during a speedrun, then when the Special assignment is ready to showcase I'll direct to the guide in the description? I don't know, but I'm sure something can be made to the run through clear.

Okay, so I decided recently to re-do this series and make it a bit more professional. The original videos will still be up and view-able, but will be updated with higher quality footage and notes in the descriptions. More full game runs (maybe a stream or two) from me will come fairly soon after some of the life stuff going on is dealt with.

Not the door leading towards the lever to jump up a floor, in the old special assignments video, nor the ship on the 3rd floor.

Well... the only skips that I didn't use are in The Bank, Dirty Work, Special Assignment. Those two skips can be found in Special Assignment skips video I did back years ago. I was actually planning on rebooting the series again but do it right, and professionally. If you are willing to do the videos then go right ahead. I'm not stopping you at all from doing all of this work you are willing to do, especially since you haven't run this game yet.

Actually Quadruplex, when you get to the cottage/shed in the "Miner Altercation" Level, there's a fun fact about that skip. I found it by complete accident. I was doing a practice run and I did the level as fast as I can doing it the intended way. But, while I was showing off the odd one-way invisible wall, after getting the voice recorder, I found you can jump up to the top of the cottage/shed. So I accidentally managed to find the skip still used in runs to this very day. I would show footage of this practice run as it was very stupid, and funny, but all of it got corrupted on my laptop.

Whatever word program (Google docs, Wordpad, etc.) you have. It really doesn't matter.

Don't worry about it, we all run into life issues. It happens all the time.

I've actually thinking about doing that for a while now, perhaps I'll make a guide for this game. I really don't have any professional looking notes to share with anyone at the moment.

Answer for your question Quadruplex, You can skip cutscenes without needing to watch before hand (speaking for the WiiU Versions (Download and Disc). I know this because I accidentally deleted Game data off of my System before, so I just rushed through the game to get 100% on all four data slots (Life wasting, I know but I Don't Care I enjoy the game).

Someone commented on the [F]WR video suggesting that I should use the Spanish Language cause its faster. I am a bit skeptical about this as I feel that the difference will be in how long the characters talk, which sounds close to the length of the English dialogue. If anyone (cough StiWiiRage cough) would like to test the different languages then go right ahead.

Without doing extensive testing I think that we should keep using our native language, unless using a specific language is magically faster.

Here's some info on load times, from what I've read online PS4 pro has much better load times than the Switch.

I have been watching Blitzwinger's PS4 let's play and the game seems to be somewhat different from the WiiU. One noticeable difference is that the disguise booths are unlocked from the beginning, and you can buy vehicles from call-in points. Of course how you answer calls, set way-points and scanning is different since the game-pad is not used, and there is local co-op.

Okay it seems to bit faster if you are able to control it (I was able to be 3 seconds faster in a slow car than a faster car in time trial mode). That's because you are going faster than what the game wants you to be (199mph) and you need to be sliding at a wall during a loop. It does work on other walls like near the beginning of Submerged City (the straight down into the water section).

I don't know exactly how much time it saves... but it is sort of a speed boost. I'll do some testing real quick.
