lmao that dude pulling shady shenanigans.
Should prob contact site admins about that.
Please explain Cory in the House, Ive never heard of that one but Im very interested
Was just about to post the same thing.
Did you really have to post this in 2 separate threads?
I think this is a good time to remind people that just because you run a game or just because you have WR in a game does not auto-qualify you for a position as a mod.
I dont know if this user is actually a bot, but they've made a few posts recently that seem to pick up on a few key words in a post then create a response containing those keywords but is actually nonsense. Then they follow it up with a link to a website that has no relevance. So idk, maybe look at their profile before bopping them, but their behavior recently is kinda spam bot-ish
You probably want to ask in this thread http://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/be179 instead
http://www.speedrun.com/superdang879
Make sure to link the person's account, it makes it much easier for the mods/admins to go in and ban them.
Welcome to the site.
I just want to post a PogChamp
If you have questions or issues with a game or your run of a game, you're better off putting it in the game specific forums (or reach out via twitter, discord, etc).
You'll get a much better and faster response there than putting it here in the main forums (not everyone checks these main forums and they aren't ideal for addressing game questions or run issues).
Wouldn't a turbo controller make playing the games worse? Isn't it well known that just mashing the hell out of combos and whatnot (which a turbo controller would do) would just make combos drop? And it's not like there's many text boxes to mash through either.
I just don't understand and backin up @Goldphnx too on this one.
I don't see why not. As long as you dont carry over any items, I see no reason not to count it as NG even though it's a file that was already beaten.
You're gonna want to ask this in the game forums for Fallout NV http://www.speedrun.com/fallout_nv/forum
The site wide forums are not great for asking about game specific things because most of us probably only have a few series or games we know very well. You'll get much better response in the forums for the game where the runners will be more likely to check.
Timers are for the viewer only, they aren't required to submit a speedrun (unless the mods are mean). But yes, a stopwatch would be suitable as a timer if you so desired.
