As far as I'm aware, there's no way to collect every oddity, because your choices lock you out of certain ones.
Done. End could be on final hit on Tchort, or picking up the cube.
How do you want it to be? If it's new game plus, that's part of it, isn't it?
Yeah, I'll do that. For now, I'll say any patch from what I used and up. If you want to be a mod, just ask.
So yes to debug mode. But I'd still allow rebinding with a program, or a second mouse, just so you can use both hands at once.
Oh, good. But this way lets you use a button and the mouse at the same time.
I should clarify, that the ideal software for me is not something that clicks for you, but just lets you assign the mouse buttons. I just tested autohotkey, never tried it before but this script worked to make a button become both mouse clicks. So we have that.
RAlt::RButton
RButton & s::Send {LButton}
That's complicated. Wouldn't want to lose the animation skips, but if the original did run half a frame faster then it'll be good to match that, so yeah debug mode for me. I probably wouldn't want to use the fast mode, but I see the game has an inbuilt speed option now too. I see fade ins are back as well. I've been wanting to use a program for button presses, as long as it's easy and everyone can use it. But I understand if people consider that a not legit way to play, but even two mice plugged in makes it easier.
Yes, but luckily one of the frame perfect skips isn't needed to make it in time, although getting them would help.
I didn't add it but I think talking to Moue to get Nico's number could be faster too. Maybe.
I'll probably get around to another run or two one day. It's what gives me an excuse for revisiting this game.
I hate that Chapter 5. I was nearly landing on the wall in Edoras and trying to walk up it to the exit. I got this for the Gullies that may save some time if you go grinding for Black Speech first.
Now we're talking. That's very neat. We're going to need some sort of list of all these that are useful.
The launches and various things, like fish grab in Taming Gollum are dependent on having a high fps, I don't know the exact rate needed for each one, (I said 90 but it might be more), the launch at the start of tracking hobbits is the easiest to get (that's in ASM NG+) others are more specific like in Caradhras and require more precise angles to get the right launch, but they're not like the black riders one which is nearly random
Yes it's that inconsistent, 1 in 50 tries if you're lucky, not recommended unless you're after the best possible time. You just have to hope when you fall in, it launches you out, (assuming over 90 framerate)
At the moment the rules are flexible, I don’t know if emulator is different (I'd guess it is). But I couldn't imagine how I'd learn to improve the run without save states. Like, I could see a time at some point you split console and emulator into two category's, and that disc eject glitch probably has to go into a separate category at some point too.
