Ontario, CanadaA few other games like this, such as Rocket Golf, already have a fewest shots category and as cool as the idea is I personally don't feel the need to add a score category. I can't say and don't know what Ox's opinion on this is, but I'm not willing to create and maintain that. That doesn't mean that new mods are out of the question if such a thing were to be made and enough activity warranted it.

Not only that but the game itself is basically completely different now, I guess you could get some apks of the version that runs are in on the leaderboards, but that's not ideal is it
Load times in between levels are inconsistent between devices and the ice and sand dungeons are bonus dungeons so at one point the main 4 was all there was. There may be additional bonus dungeons in the future, so we stick with what we've got and just complete the main 4 as "full game". Plus, the game is nice enough to already provide a game mode with in game time to complete the story mode dungeons, so if it ain't broke...

I wouldn't say it's destroyed, I'd say sub 18:30 is when it'll be truly optimized but the current wr is pretty good for the time being lol
I have no idea how recently this was done, but the Moron Test got an update. It got a makeover, and some new map packs but I can't actually get past old school due to the game not registering my phone flipping upside down. So, the question is what happens to all these old runs, from the reviews it looks like the timing system changed too, it's no longer on screen so I assume you have to wait until the run ends to find out, and apparently it may not be very accurate.
Always nice to see old runners of a game/category come back and have them know the knowledge of the past history of it firsthand, I don't have perfect pitch either but the game isn't asking you to actually name the notes so having a good ear and fast reaction time is enough for anyone to recognize the answer. However I can name a few notes based on pitch due to memorizing the pitch of songs that start with that note :P
The 5 new categories have been made, though the name change is still undecided. Enjoy running the sets!
I'd prefer the 2 seperate categories, though I know it'll make the IL leaderboards a mess unless we do it a la cat bird category split
Possibly the last update regarding these categories, we officially have a Category Extensions page! Because of this, the mods have decided to move all No Restriction runs to that page, as the category was unpopular anyway, having only a few runs done at all. As a result, the records will no longer be tracked here, but instead at https://www.speedrun.com/cb_ce

Please submit the run officially to the leaderboards, not posting it on the forums.
Just an update, any category named PNP+ has been renamed to No Restrictions instead. This way, reset glitch on emulator is allowed as well as Pause & Play+. Their timesaves are practically the same and reset glitch is supposedly just as inconsistent as a well executed PNP+. Another big change to the NMG Any% categories is if the "New Best Time" animation does not show up in your run, you are required to add 1 second to the time displayed in the time trial screen at the end. This is due to the fact that any run without that animation will usually only add 1 second to the time you entered the portal as opposed to 2. This change does not affect All Crowns. Hope you like these new changes :)
