Hey SuperViperT302,
You're correct that the current rules state the blindfold cannot be removed once the run begins until it is completed. There are already several verified runs where runners navigate the pause menus while blindfolded. To maintain consistency and fairness for all participants, we’ll be keeping the rules as they are for now.
We appreciate your dedication to the category, and we encourage you to keep pushing the boundaries of blindfolded runs!
Hey K-Patch,
We've looked into this and determined that deleting the save file for Wii Party U from the Wii U's data files would be a viable way to execute the RNG manipulation in the runs you mentioned.
Feel free to continue the discussion here or on the Discord channel if you'd like to make another case for runs you believe are done through an emulator or with mods. You can also file disputes about runs on the leaderboard directly by messaging me or CedrikPle.
UPDATE:
Mental Marathon - Identify, Mental Marathon - Memorize, Mental Marathon - Analyze, Mental Marathon - Compute, Mental Marathon - Visualize, and Mental Marathon - Mix have all been added as Individual Level categories.
"Auto" has been added as a variable to accommodate the new Mental Marathon difficulty.
Thanks for bringing this up.
I've looked into your pilot runs and Mental Marathons with a 100 score should work out well for Individual Level categories. I've added it to the roster!
As you mentioned with Mind Sprint, it involves a race between two players and average times rather than a start to finish in-game time. When I originally made this leaderboard, I wanted to have a minimum amount of categories to keep things competitive and not dilute it with too many categories with few runs. I intentionally kept Mind Sprint out as it would effectively add 96 new Individual Level categories.
For now, it'll be kept out as a category unless a case can be made that it's different enough from the other Individual Level categories to deserve it's own place and it won't turn the IL Leaderboard into a mess of unnecessary categories.
If you had a run that you deleted, there is no way the mods can "re-add" the run. You'll have to submit your run again.
A new Discord server for the Rhythm Tengoku series has been added to the sidebar. Come say hi!
"Emulators, illegal game copies, and/or USB loading are not allowed."

As alluded to multiple times with previous rejected runs, we are looking for a proof of concept (seeing that you are playing a game blindfolded), and nothing you mentioned fits that concept. Please refer to the blindfold part of the rules.
If you can't do this, don't run the category.
You can continue to submit runs, but please follow the moderator notes if it gets rejected.

Hey Rhythm Tengoku fans,
In order to maintain leaderboard accuracy, a few things have been updated:
- Emulators and/or USB loading are not allowed
- Video proof is required for all runs
- "Any%" and" All Perfects" sub-catergories have been added to the misc. "Blindfolded" category
Take care!
From the rules: Time starts with a new game after choosing your profile label and "Yes" is selected when asked to "Continue?".
This is for all categories.
Hey folks,
After some recent work with @CedrikLPle and a demand for runs without controller footage, a "Not Intentional" sub-category has been added to ALL leaderboard categories. This will allow you to submit runs without controller footage and run the game in any way you'd like.
Please keep in mind that a video is still required to submit all runs and controller footage is still required for the "Intentional" sub-category.
....Also Perfect 10 and Island Cycling in both the Full-game and IL leaderboards have been added.... My bad on that oversight.
Have fun with those Balance Board speedruns!
