Not sure. I had a setting on that said pause when not in use, which could affect it I suppose. I do use obs to record.

What are you talking about? The game itself loads and I can hear it start up after I hit reset, which is why I start the timer right after I hit reset. There's no need to wait 2 seconds. It's just the game isn't visually there for the first 2 seconds.

I'm getting really annoyed at this site. This is the second time a run of mine has been rejected.
I submitted a run for sm64 emu and it got rejected because apparently I'm using a banned version of Project64.
I wasn't even aware I was using a different version than what's allowed. I don't get why that would make a difference in my runs anyways.
Just started speedrunning on SM64 not too long ago. Tried n64 on noncrt and hated it, currently doing attempts on an emulator.
Hoping to get sub 1 hr someday, but it seems really tough. I am unable to do the Whomp's wall glitch, and instead do LLL100. I also can't do the bomb clip (I've caught the bomb a couple times practicing throwing)
