Iirc there's no legal way to buy the game, so you can try your luck and find a version on the internet. Unfortunately, current load remover is working properly only on russian version of the game.

You can run on international verstion of the game, but the glitch that is done in the most optimal route of the no ssu works only on jp. So I would suggest switching to japanese one. It's easy to do, just download converter that is in resources.

Yeah, also game has its own timer for levels, maybe u could count your time with that, just put cg_drawTimer 1 in console

1. Are you sure timer is set on game time?
2. Run livesplit as admin (helps in lots of cases) afaik autosplitter is tested on steam version but some people reported to have troubles with it. Maybe it's really works only on retail cuz I've got retail and it works for me.
