i used mobizen in the past. it has a watermark but oddly it can be removed for free in the settings

someone in the nsmbw community has made a windows program to retime loads out of their runs. it works for any game but is 100% manual and tedious. https://github.com/RootCubed/LoadRetimer

but you can always commision someone to make a load remover/autosplitter in the speedrun tool developement discord https://discord.com/invite/N6wv8pW

or you can make it yourself. its a fun "puzzle" to figure out how it all works though ive heard UE is a bitch but people in that discord can be really helpful even if intimidating

just wait until elo brings back the user list page

how do i get banned

ill list some reasons why i ran the things i ran because why not:

muumit ja taikurin hattu: suddenly a new guy came along who got a ridiculous time which motivated me to run again after 3 years and i also managed to get two other runners running it making it the most active perioid of the games history with 4 active runners and wr dropping by 3 minutes.

ape 3: i had been planning to learn this game for a while and in february a new revolutionary trick was found so i got bman to teach the run to me

drift86: i learned how to make autosplitters because i made one for muumit ja taikurin hattu so i messed around with that and "had to" do some runs

neon white demo: got really excited for this game when the first trailer cameout and the demo was released in february so i grinded some ils for fun

mission escape from island: wanted to make more autosplitters so i tried this game (btw its a shitty unity asset flip :D)

hellcat: wanted to make more autosplitters and happened to "kill" the any% category by killing the disgustingly unfair final boss first try saving about an hour off the wr

catwoman: found the pc version of the game and the masochist in me made me play it (and made an autosplitter)

rallytrophy: i decided to make a "speedometer" program mainly intended for the "legal%" meme category where you follow the speed limit signs

ape 1: got my hands on a modded ps2 (5mins faster than ps3 vc) and couple new runners popped up and i got motivated to run again and managed to push my pb through the sub 50 barrier. then did couple no ij runs because my previous pb was on ps3 vc

ape 3: i submitted the game to the finnish speedrun marathon FinnRuns summer 2022 so i started grinding my time down also couple new runners popped in so i got more motivation from that

nsmbw: dnvic flew all the way from america here to finland and we wanted to do a run for fun

ape1: i had planned on learning hundo after finnruns summer 2022 (it was in july) but took until november to learn it. i also submitted the run to FinnRuns 2023 in january but sadly it didnt fit in the schedule

hugo roborumble: found the pc version so i made an autosplitter

there is an autosplitter program that i think toufool made that allows you to give screenshots of a game to it and it will send a split when it sees that picture. sorry dont have links on hand.

but if its a pc game you might as well make an autosplitter or it. atleast i personally find the process to be fun and you can also pay people to make one for you.

havent kept track of what has happened but merls "Spelunky??" is hilarious

no idea why the internet generally follows the us law but id say somewhat mostly it works. actually i think it might be like "lets follow the us law so the site wont be banned there" which doesnt really make sense either as america isnt really a country to ban websites to my knowledge as an america hater

@cheg always love peoples reaction when i post links to the songs i listen to and partly because of that i only link the "weirder" ones out of the ones i listen to at the moment though peoples reactions could be more creative (eyeroll) its always just "wtf" or "what" >:D

how many times have you the op (sizzyl) actually bumped this thread? definetly not enough to get 48 pages probably like 95% or something of the posts are garbage unrelated to the main "reason" of the thread

ive been on the site since 2016 (this is not my first account i used to have another one that had no runs on it and 6 years isnt all too long in the end) but i cant really tell you any history of the site as there is nothing really notable in my opinion other than pac selling the site. before that site was basically the same other like some small changes from which the only one i can remember is the font change for the runners names on leaderboards (you can see pictures on some older summoningsalt videos)

youll need either a composite capture card, hdmi capture card or even just a phones camera to record your game (note that if you use a phone to record you cant have a timer on the video without video editing). and then livesplit and obs on your pc. you can also connect your phone to a pc as a camera which would allow you to have a timer as well
