I'll try it in the next few days I think. Also I have to say that I won't use the Elise superspeed glitch, even if I tryhard every races (which I won't do anyway), I won't be able to gain time.
Oh ok, I didn't know there was 3 options. Sorry then, it's good ^^
I already saw that long time ago, and I already planeed on using it in my segmented run, if it works on X360 :)
Seems good to me. Just one thing : as I understood, Steam RE5 is crazy when going at 120FPS, so I'd rather say 60FPS+ is not allowed. Maybe we could add also in 4) : In Game Timer can be added as a secondary information, but it's not an obligation.
No car match up the Elise times. The only car that is faster than the Elise is the M3 GTR, and on a very little number of tracks the Carrera GT is slightly faster. Just Elise or Riot :D
Part 3 (Vic) is uploaded.
Well, as I saw on your stream, you didn't have to complain Kappa And I'm sure you've still got at least a minute to gain. I guess our RE5 pause will be over soon, now that we can have some challenge (Veteran demotivated us so bad xd)
Bodykit allows you to change aero cursor, but I dont know if a spoiler can do the work too.
But anyway, bodykits are the 1st part you can buy in the list, so it's faster to get the 1st bodykit, and then tune it for max grip. Maybe we can combine both but I don't think it works tho.
Yup, that's why I told to get the car sent directly in the safehouse, because the plan is to get only once in the parts shop. So you can buy it when you've done the little circuit, no matter when it is, and then select it after Kaze.
I also didn't mention that, to be sure to fully equip the Eiise after Kaze, you have to not tune the Golf with Earl's transmission, and Jewels Tires. (or maybe Tires only is possible, but I'm not sure if it's worth or not) You need for the Elise :
- Super pro Engine, Transmission, Suspension, Nitro, (Brakes), Turbo/Supercharger
- Ultima Tires
- A bodykit, for aero.
- And eventually do a steering & behaviour tune.
Can you time some of the loadings during your run and write them here?
I'll re-watch my run and compare to see how much is the difference.
Ok, so here are my conclusion about which car to drive for the late game.
Globally, the Cayman and the Golf do the same times. The Elise is between 2 and 4 seconds faster, depending if the track is fast or slow due to many turns.
Also, there is a way to buy the Elise by a faster way. Drive the 'Cascade' circuit (the short one in the center of rockport), and when you cross the finish line, turn directly to the left. Then, to the right on the next intersection, and boom there's a car lot here. Buy the Elise, be sure to make it delivered to your safehouse, and not drive it. Then you nee to select the Elise after beating Kaze.
Nay, we live with nearly 1'000 km difference ^^ We just play normally, with the disc game installed on the HDD, that's all.
Are you sure you can't do much better? You both are good so normally you should be able to beat our time without too much exercise, moreover our SoB is a low 1:41 if I remember well, so there's still some time to gain.
Did you timed your loading times? You should try to compare to ours, so we can see what difference there is, because honestly I'm really confused.
Yup, I'll also so Challenge series on MW at least, and I forgot to mention Jak X : Combat Racing on PS2, and maybe Jak & Daxter series, who knows.
I'd like to do NFS U2, MW, Carbon, ProStreet, Resident Evil 5 Co-op, maybe Resident Evil 4 also. This will take me a lot of time ^^
And then, who knows what the future will be
As I would like to play recent games too, and with the streaming, I'll get a strong one that can handle everything I can do. I should move out around april 2016 to a new house. So I'll try to get a good internet there, and after a few time I should be able to buy my PC. So I'd say june-july 2016 should be the right time, if everything I planned goes well.
My pc is a potato. There's no way I can play and stream with it. Even when I record my console with the Elgato, I can't do anything else, because my pc is already at 100%. I'll work on many PC games when I'll have a new PC, and when I'll be able to stream in good quality.
Ok. It would be cool to find a way to manipulate precisely the RNG, and it might even be helpful on other NFS games, who knows. (Cops Spawn in MW for example Kappa )
Btw, just making a quick ad for my other project. Tomorrow I'll be racing in the Xbox Elite Series on Forza Motorsport 6, for the French Championship. If you're interested, there will be a live here : http://www.twitch.tv/xboxfrance It's gonna be all in french, but well the races is the best part of the night ^^ It will start around 21.30 CET
How fast can you go Kuru? Just sub 7? 6:30? Dunno how much time you can save. I'd like to do U2 as well (again, when I'll get a good PC), but the one thing that bothers me is that thing you use Ewil to change the races locations. Never understood it.
It definitely doesn't work. Sometimes you put it to Easy and the AI is even harder to beat than usual when they have unlimited nitro.
Or sometimes thay are really far behind. Seems that it's not changing anything overall.
Thx !
I already did some research for this a few months ago, with the difference between the Elise and the Golf, and if I remember well I think that there is a 3 seconds difference on a "normal" sprint between them. Of course it varies depending of the track but it should most of the time be between 2-4 seconds.
