Ok so I did some experimenting with both the quest and pc versions of the game and it truly creates an unfair advantage.

This ^^^ gallery has screenshots of both versions. Clearly, the device on the pc version spawns much farther away (if you enlarge the image you can see the tiny speck that is the device to the top right of my telekinesis cursor) as opposed to the quest version. You also can't grab the device on pc at all.
So, I suggest a separate category is made for First Class for this skip, and all runs using this skip will be moved to that category. Furthermore, all missions would need to be fixed as well. Do we create a new category for that as well?
hey ashen, are you able to take a screenshot of what you see for reference?
It may be a storage space issue, try deleting some games/videos to free up space.
If that doesn’t work and if it’s not possible to record longer, I’m willing to let you use multiple recordings (and stitch them together later) and count the time it takes to end and start a recording in the oculus menu as load time. Just make sure to mention that in the run description and try to stop/start the recording as fast as you can. (also if I somehow find out you spent like 10 minutes between recordings I’ll probably reject the run)
Stop counting time when there are loading screens. Usually it shows a “loading” splash screen but sometimes the loading screens are just when the entire screen is black. Time in the van, in the win/death room, and in the menu (where you restart the level or exit to van) do NOT count as loading and will be added to your time. I recommend using editing software to get precise timing. However you can also simply start counting up every time there is a black screen/loading screen and subtract that from your ‘with loads’ time when you are done. Hope this helps
We are not currently looking to add more categories but thanks for sharing
The rules are a little vague but the way I time it is the time starts when the first level loads and the time ends when you exit the last level. (Not during the menu, it is when the loading screen starts)
Also, we’d love to see you in ieytd discord! We have a channel for ieytd2 speedrunning: https://discord.gg/ieytd
Add time with and without loads to the leaderboard because some platforms load faster than others, giving them an unfair advantage.
