I mostly agree with this, however winning consecutive games is never easy and it's actually much more RNG reliant when you consider it, the luck of winning so many times (I think) is unrealistic for a category. If people manage to do this then I'm sure we could consider it for certain games.
You're quite right, at the moment on the Xbox, dragons are more expensive amongst other unit changes. However, I recall that dragons USED to cost 1000 on PC which may indicate console versions are just a little behind in updates or perhaps that this change has slipped the net when making console versions up to date.
It's a substantial disadvantage to console speedrunners over PC right now, in the future this might be changed but I'm wouldn't be able to confirm it.
Hello, I moderate Totally Accurate Battle Simulator ( https://www.speedrun.com/tabs/ ) And I'd like the 'Webgame' game type removed if possible. At one point the pre-alpha was available on the developer's website but the current game mode is only on Steam and consoles, so it doesn't need to be tagged as such. Thanks very much.
Yeah, I'd like to have that explained at some point, the alpha categories actually don't have the earliest version, they have the Open Alpha release for running not the Pre-Alpha because only certain individuals used to be able to play it.
Congrats to those who managed to stay above his time!
Actually, to update and confuse people here, Speed Builders and Dragon Escape have their own games on SRCom, it'd be much more ideal if they were listed as server/maps of this game, however.
I think people would attempt the Lava parkour, maybe not so much the ruins one but it depends
So what would people think about a series of sub-categories attached to the full game category which add on new campaigns as they're released? A similar fix has been implemented here: https://www.speedrun.com/dragon_escape/full_game
In theory, an autosplitter should be easy to make following guides (especially if it uses a unity engine) problem is I haven't got the time to learn how to make one
I'm much busier in life at the moment and to be honest, I'm not engaged with the Rock Band community in general, outside this page. If there's anyone interested in moderating who knows a fair bit about and has played through games in the series then let me know! (on this thread or through DMs) I'll keep this forum open for a while and if nobody's interested then no problem.
Yes, you can do the tour or any of the categories currently on the leaderboard with any of the instruments, it's part of the submission form where you can select the instrument used.
I'm not sure if that's the case - I've just looked into it (I haven't played the game in a week or so, so I was concerned) but I can still use all units on all campaigns. Be sure to check you have "All units enabled in campaign missions" checked in the Gameplay tab of settings!
