Speedrun.com is not really a centralized resource for speedrunning as a whole, because speedrunning is a very segmented field. Any answer people might give you will only apply in some cases, every game is different. That said, official ports are usually going to have a place for runs, whether in a subcategory or a different game page altogether. But 100-in-1 systems are (I'm assuming) not going to be running on systems which accurately emulate hardware. On this quality alone, runs on those systems aren't going to be allowed. It's simply easier to procure a ROM elsewhere and run an emulator on a computer, where you can directly record without additional hardware.
The workaround is leaving the Real Time column completely blank with every run.
Timers would be recorded along with the capture stream from your game console, though you should ask in your specific game's forum to see if the video requires a timer. Many moderators can retime runs themselves.
I'd say it would be better to go with the first option. Runners are likely going to reset for better character stats regardless, so making the process a little easier (no resetting the timer every time) would be better.
@qwillinallthefish Not right now. Best workaround is just leaving 000 in the millisecond time for runs/categories you don't want to show them.
@afnannen136 Moderators can verify runs in any order, this would not help.
Ask your question on the game's forum. https://www.speedrun.com/Mickeys_Speedway_USA_GBC/forum
A rare example of a literal tie down to the frame (as discovered later).
OBS is somewhat resource-intensive, especially on weaker computers. The best thing to do would be to lower recording resolution and framerate, and close other programs.
Right click -> Edit Layout... -> Layout Settings -> Layout -> uncheck "Always On Top" Then to still be able to control LiveSplit, Right click -> Settings -> check "Global Hotkeys".
One tends to make a forum post on the game's forum, not ... make another request for the same game... Honestly, that's just subverting the entire community. Not great.
okay here's the forum link markdown is being weird www.speedrun.com/re2remake/forum
