In this COVID world you would expect them to be glued to the screen, endlessly refreshing speedrun.com in hopes of having a new run to verify. Truly appalling behavior by the moderation team, they should be ashamed of themselves.

I've added Original/Remastered as sub-categories in this leaderboard. I don't see the need to add it as a new game in this case. Feel free to submit the run as Remastered.

There are other saves in the resources, they are 1.0 no AJS only but you can convert them to 1.1. That link should be removed though.

scha_de told me about something relating to weird lap counts and after looking into it:

There are 2 races with 2 laps and 10 races with 3 laps. The first race will ALWAYS be forced into 2 laps, regardless of their usual lap count (because biker fighting tutorial) The malc2 race, which is also 2 laps, will also play the tutorial if it hasn't been played, which means that doing malc2 before a race will consume your free lap skip.

I genuinely have no idea what this is about or why it is relevant to this game. Are you having issues with loading times? You can always use RAMdisks, as long as you have 4GB of RAM spare.

10 seconds on new layout, already finding bugs. Unless this was from a previous update.

Only did a small bit of testing but here's a few issues I found:

Timer starts only when first level starts, current timing start when the difficulty is selected. Timer is paused during all "non-gameplay" sections, such as pause menu, post-level menu, pre-level weapon selection screen (it loads until the Start Game button is available, but afterwards it shouldn't count as loading) and level fail screen.

Did you press a replay while on fire? This makes Claude get permanently stuck on "fire", and you can't aim while on fire. Save and reload to fix it. Don't use replays while on fire to prevent it.

No, but if you are on a sidewalk and an out of control car runs you over it's certainly bad luck. What you're essentially saying is that runs from runners who have been long inactive are worthless because the runners are inactive, either because they moved on or have no time. If these runs are so worthless what's the point of having a leaderboard in the first place? Just delete every run except the World Record. Who cares if those people had PBs? They have no videos for things they did 3 years ago so clearly they didn't wear a seatbelt tight enough.

Reminder to look both ways before you cross the street... I mean, reminder to keep your PBs in your harddrive for years just in case twitch runs you over and you have to replace your skull
