@Nct16 Are you aware if the consoles work in the same way, so if i would make a category in consoles for general?
The 2-4 players are under misc categories already.
The addition of a 1-70 run would be possible. The rules though would be quite similar as the current one has.
The thing that bothers me about using geared characters for speedruns is that you are required to farm/craft specific gear that would speed up the run. The current run is fair for everyone and is only affected by luck basically. Also the NG+ category won't have the loot drop aaspect of the run, only the area spawning will affect the run.
well if someone actually submits runs with the other classes we can make the cats for them (maybe as miscellaneous though)
Well I took your ideas and mixed them with the current category. As for the categories for for separate classes, some classes would seem not to fit the 'speed' (and I do mean WD) and others aren't that fast without cdr. If that's what you want I can add a categories for monk and dh, but that would basically be adding one for dh and changing the current one to monk.
Tell me if there is something I missed or something that could require further editing.
Here you can post your category ideas. Include rules and a possible name for the run.
Diablo 3 doesn't have any hacks or cheats, and if there is they will be easy to spot. It would not be cool to have a 2h+ run fail due to having to quickly do something you weren't expecting. This is why there the rules explain what to do and when incase you need to pause. The follower rule was made incase pausing is required, to make the process of continuing gameplay easier. Followers don't have skills that increase speed and the do very little damage compared to the Nephalem, so the lack of followers doesn't change the actual time that much.
If everyone seems to want followers, then we can look into allowing them.
@rakv All i need to see is time and gameplay. Having extra music or overlay is compeltely up to you.
@Jamesborg99 The rules were made to avoid any possible cheating and making it fair for everyone.
@Geshode He does provide a decent chunk of XP when killed and getting dashing strike ASAP is very good.
Feel free to ask any questions that you may have about Diablo 3 :)
