The direct train is fixed at 300-ish DKK each way.
Booking will be available in May, 3 months from the event.
So the 400 SEK (or 550 with air mattress) for the mass housing are for the whole week and not per day, right? This may sound like a stupid question, but I just want to get sure.
Yes of course. Otherwise everyone would stay in the hotel!
Mass housing will be open from Saturday (day 1) to Monday morning (day 10).

So just a few more days to get submissions in, then we'll get to work on a schedule. You'll definitely get a run on the book if you want to come ! :)
Yeah, put your name down and submit runs then let us know before the submission deadline what your plans are.
Looked up travel costs and it's very cheap, gonna see if I can get the time off work and go.
Yeah I just booked flights to Copenhagen for 50 quid. Decent
The comp deal is only available if you're signing up to take part in the speedrun group.. We can't guarantee to be able to work around smash, and if you're there only for smash then you're not entitled to one.
UPDATE:
19/10
Submissions are now closed. Thanks for the last minute rush!
There should be a 'public draft' of the schedule up by the end of the week to check for any changes that need to take place before the event itself.
Dreamhack Winter 26-29 November A long time waiting, but I can finally confirm DHW15 speedrun marathon is happening :-D
The main speedrun schedule will run 15 hours each day with the last scheduled run starting before 1am. Overnight will be the 'bonus stream' where we can show off other unusual categories and games!
There is a complimentary package available to people signing up to take part in the speedrunning exhibition area. We can cover your entry and mass housing costs if you are prepared to take full part in our event.
Submissions
Please first confirm your attendance by signing up here:
vvv DREAMHACK SIGNUP FORM ^^^
Once you have done that, please submit as many runs/categories as you like via the following:
vvv RUN SUBMISSION FORM ^^^
Submissions will remain open provisionally up until October 18, with a schedule published before November. Please confirm your attendance in this thread when submitting as we only have a short amount of time to stream. If you are coming you should have at least one run scheduled. We will close signups if it looks possible that people attending will not get a chance to run.
Please fill in the form once per run being submitted. If you’re submitting a race (up to 2 player vs) then please agree this with your buddy and then submit only once. We’ll endeavour to include as many people as possible in the main stream.
The atmosphere at DHW is relaxed and I encourage you to submit the categories that are the most fun to show off.
Chat group We have a #DHW15 group chat in the ESA discord group. You can join that group with this invite code :)
Tech! We need capable volunteers to keep a handle on the speedrunning stream. Anyone who is available for the full event should contact Planks for the additional details, particularly if you've helped at a past ESA.

Stream Location? twitch.tv/dreamhackspeedrun
Bags A storage area will be made available for personal belongings.
Travel Dreamhack provide a full travel Q&A on their website
Planes: Best Choice: Gothenburg Landvetter and direct coach (see swebus below). Second choice: Copenhagen Kastrup and train to Jonkoping Centrum.
Trains: Jonkoping is 1 change from Gothenburg, Stockholm and Copenhagen on the trains. You can then take local bus 1 to Elmia or a taxi (approx 10 eur). SJ.se has prices and timetables.
Buses: Swebus provide buses directly to Dreamhack from the following points. Use ‘Dreamhack Elmia’ as your destination to check availability with the promotion code 'DHW2015': Stockholm, Södertälje, Nyköping, Norrköping, Linköping, Mjölby, Ödeshög, Gränna, Ulricehamn, Borås, Göteborg, Karlstad, Kristinehamn, Gullspång, Mariestad, Skövde, Tidaholm, Mullsjö, Gränna, Värnamo, Markaryd, Örkelljunga, Helsingborg, Lund and Malmö
Swebus also run services to Jönköping station where you can take a local bus/taxi.
Swebus buses all have power points and free wifi.
On that point specifically, setup time doesn't go away if you ignore it.
10 mins per run please in the future and that can be reduced if we go consistently early.
Yup, the entrance is via the gravel parking area you can see on the map. It's a local football ground so flat and even.
Any problems with camping get your normal bands then find us by cosplay in the blue tent or Tweens me @ontwoplanks
Arrival details:
You need to go exhibitor sign in at north Entrance to get your exhibitor badge. You are named by real name under the 'Speedrunners' list
Parking is in Car Park C if you need it, follow public road signs. You need to cross the main road by footbridge and you arrive by the south entrance so need to walk around first time you arrive.
If coming by taxi ask your driver to drop you at or as close as possible to the casino entrance.
Camping is in camp site B, shown on the map. It's got parking or is about a 15 min walk. Look for the big metal gates, you need to show your wristbands to the bouncer every time you go in so you ¤must¤ visit Ricoh to sign in first
Just a few last minute things to remember
Don't rely on there being decent wifi. If you're bringing a laptop, bring a long ethernet cable as we'll have a big switch you can plug in to.
Bring a 4 way adapter so you can plug your phone in without hogging a socket
Bring sturdy, comfy shoes as the campsite is a walk away and obviously might get muddy. The forecast is for sunshine and showers, the greatest chance of sustained rain on Sunday.
Anyone arriving on day 1 got another C920 (or other quality webcam) to borrow for the whole event?
We are not in the BYOC area and our event finishes at 6pm each night (sadly) so after that there is nothing to do but spectate other open areas.
With your ticket you can stay up playing games all night (BYOC doesn't close any more.. I think? :))
Hope this clarifies.
We're in the main hall, so no worries there ;)
@Kitty, it literally answers the shower question on the page you linked
Free to use showers can be found within the Ricoh Arena itself, both communal and individual showers.
The campsite is where Insomnia say it is. Neither Flicky or I have any info on that. It sounds like maybe this was overflow in the past but they've not been able to secure the other one.
Everyone who is coming will have time for at least one run¤
¤unless the world submits tomorrow
