@Jono I have the same fear as you. When I first started speedrunning, I couldn't do speedruns that took ME longer than 2 hours to complete. But overtime I kept speedrunning games that took me a little over my limit, slowly but surely I got used to it. My limit has increased up to 4 and half hours now. So maybe you should try speedrunning games that's shorter than 5 hours for awhile and then try to go for speedruns that takes that long

This game is free, and it can actually be beaten on average of 10 minutes. Try looking up Super Blue Boy Planet! It's a very simple and fun platformer. It's also got a wonderful soundtrack

I've got a few questions. What are some bosses in video games that can be killed the fastest in speedruns? How long does it take the average speedrunner to defeat them? Are there any special strats for defeating them quickly?

What are some things in video games you would say are the biggest run killers during speedruns? Like maybe a specific enemy? a specific character? a specific mission? or a specific glitch that occurs at a part in a game? I'd like some examples from y'all please!

1 Example i can give is Ashley Graham from Resident Evil 4. She sometimes gets caught in those bear traps when you walk pass them and you lose time freeing her. Also in some areas of the game it's a little difficult to get through sometimes without her dying. In my opinion she's just a run killer in general since you're pretty much escorting and protecting her the whole game.

How come there are no speedruns on Xbox 360? Is the 360 version even accepted here? also what's the difference between the 2 versions?

Seriously how are y'all able to do speedruns that takes y'all hours(specifically longer than 4 hours) to complete? It's dam near impossible for me to handle long runs like that due to fear of getting hungry and also having to use the bathroom. How do y'all long speedruns?

That's not even a speedrun! Speedrunning is the intent of completing a VIDEO GAME as fast as possible and Microsoft Word isn't a video game

Hi, I submitted a speedrun to a board for a game called "So uhhh... A Spaceship Crashed In My Yard" and that was about 3 weeks ago. The only moderator has been offline for about 3 months, I tried contacting him but that was 5 days ago and I never got a response. Will y'all please help verify my run? Honestly I don't want to become a full on mod for the game, I just want my run verified please.

Just like @starsmiley says you're basically requesting what already exists. And btw, glitched runs aren't cheating. If doing glitches is part of a game's category, then it's not cheating. If you have such problems with glitches, then don't do them and just do glitchless categories. Speedrun however you want. But don't go making public posts and automatically assume that glitches in general are cheating. But honestly I feel it's unnecessary for you to make a public post about something so nonsensical. Also it sounds like to me you have little to no understanding what speedrunning is really about

I would like rivals on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. At least you had people speedrun that game but no one else has speedrun Buffy but me yet :(
