Yeah true, I think if this was made, all 3 Don't Escapes, and all 4 Don't Escapes might have to be different categories too just based on how big of a change Don't Escape 4 made from the first 3, and how much longer it is too.
Also I'm kinda cheap and decided to not even buy the collection and just play the first 3 Don't Escape games on flashpoint soooo...
Lol what even happened to the people who were mods of this game before? Looks like you’re the only mod for all 4 Don’t Escape games now.
yeah I noticed that afterward lol, this run was first submitted quite a long time ago by now lol
Did you not read the entire rest of this thread?
For anyone who doesn't wanna have to do the true ending to unlock the ability to do a custom game, (probably for if you hit the "Reset progress" button without thinking a while ago like me...) then I've got you covered!

I probably would've posted this in the resources tab instead, but it looks like it's locked to only moderators, which is understandable to be fair.
Also side note: looks like this game (or at least speedrunning it) is pretty dead : /
I made this real quick so people actually knew this category existed lol.
Also, please don't submit it through speedrun.com, It'll just get rejected, use the submission form on the google docs page instead.
“Oops! You accidentally skipped a single platform in Sky 0 in your “glitchless” run! Rejected!”
Is what I imagine submissions would be like, don’t even bother with this lol.
I think it's just that it's kinda hard to figure out what counts as a "glitch" as they're all mostly just exploits, obviously Double Crouch and the clip in Escape 1 and 2 are glitches, but everything else isn't really a glitch after that, I guess there could technically be a category where the clips in Escape 1 and 2 are out, but that would kinda be pointless considering it only effects like 2 of the levels and the Double Crouch glitch is already banned in the main category.
In the legacy version of Sneak Thief (0.99) there is a glitch where the guards basically turn deaf, alarms don't trigger them, throwing grenades don't trigger them, and you shooting a non-silenced gun doesn't trigger them either, however if they directly see you, they will still chase you. Also, if a guard sees you, then it'll alert all nearby guards straight to you for whatever reason. Oh, and also walking through lasers also triggers them (unless it's one that's hooked up to a turret instead of an alarm, like the one on the 4th floor of The Data Center, in which case your gonna die anyways).
I first discovered this glitch by accident, I was practicing doing an Any% run, when in "The Stash House" level, I realized that when I kept shooting, the guards down in that locked door wouldn't barge through the door like they normally do, originally I thought this was just the game being broken, but then when I went back in the level after reloading the game, then they would actually hear me, and barge through that door, I have tried to figure out what caused the glitch, but I think I know now.
Literally all you need to do, is just enter The Mansion level, yeah that's it, that's all, if you exit or complete this level, then you can go into any stage you want (with the exception of all the stages with police cars, which in this case is The Jewelry Store, and The Neighborhood), and the guards will be deaf, the only way to remove this glitch being to exit the entire game, and starting it back up. This is useful for some levels, and not others, The Stash House has lots of time save from this glitch, but using it on any level where you plan on making noise, and luring the guards to get cheap kills, as some kind of safety strategy, you don't want this glitch.
(music starts playing) Karlson is a little game that Dani is working on, it's currently the 21st most wishlised game on steam, smash wishlist now to get it to the top spot gamer.
I attempted this myself just now and I have (so far) completed every level jumpless except escape 0 and sky 2, as in both of them, you spawn in a place without any shotguns or grenade launchers nearby, and your on completely flat ground, and need to go up a big gap. When I thought about doing this a year ago, I was like "nah, totally 100% impossible, can probably only do escape 2 and sandbox 1, but that's all," so I didn't even attempt it lol.
Wow, a 6 second tutorial level on the legacy edition, I haven't seen these before.
one thing to note, it looks like if you do literally anything on your computer during the depot download process after pressing "enter" in the console, with the "download_depot 508550 508551 7352770064168848358" line, then it'll stop entirely, and the only reason to get it after that is to start over (as far as I know), and do absolutely nothing the next time, feel free to wait on your phone or something, because otherwise steam will glitch out and stop the download without even telling you. I noticed that I had downloaded 10 gigabytes in about 6 minutes, but then when I switched to a tab of YouTube, 30 minutes later, it was still at 10 gigabytes, and console doesn't even let you know about that!
