For a blindfolded run this definitely wouldn't be allowed. The whole point of a blindfolded run is you can't see and you don't know where anything is lol.

That does sound like a fun challenge though, and would be a good idea even if it isn't a submitted speedrun.

ILs would be a great way to showcase strats that are too hard for runs, and would be usefule for creating a segmented run in the future. Aside from that, ILs would just be fun and the game has level select, so it would be easy to run. I'm all for it.

I don't think this is a good category, in my any% run only levels 11 and 10 can use fewer boxmen. Getting 3 boxmen in level 10 isn't any slower or faster than using 4, but it is more precise. Using 3 boxmen in level 11 is faster than the conventional strategy, but is slower than the fastest method by a few seconds. So, the only level that is different from any% is level 11, and the true "any%" strategy is too difficult for runs, making it basically a duplicate. It isn't worth making a category for it, and if we have low% than we should also add the trivial 100% too, right?

Well, I know that people who are toxic usually don't get banned, but OP included suicide porn as one of the things toxic people do. And people like that definitely get banned.

I should clarify. Site staff has the ability to lock threads, ban users, and take away users privilege to make forums and message users. That's enough to keep toxicity contained most of the time, and it almost never gets out of control.

@Lieutenant_Boo as a fan of Ferociter and a high tier webgame runner (tm) myself, I will definitely run that game after I finish it casually and beat Pigments 100%, which is proving to be a very difficult task right now.

That's not what he meant to say, he's just pointing out that the first thing you did after joining the site is complain about toxic users who don't exist. Most people aren't toxic, and those who are just get banned, and we don't have to worry about them again.

This is a 5 year old thread and OP hasn't been online in 6 months. It wasn't necessary to reply to this thread. I also don't know what you mean by "picture in picture"

Some games do require the use of a timer, but it isn't common.

I play with arrow keys whenever that's an option, unless the game uses the mouse. It isn't hard for me at all, I'm just used to it. Using WASD is always terrible for me, and sometimes I won't finish a game because I hate playing with WASD.

I'd like to see some love for https://www.speedrun.com/sbbp The game has no active runners, which is understandable because getting a top time in any category except any% requires using ridiculously difficult and/or rng heavy tricks. Because of that, I felt really burned out after getting world records in almost every category, and it's hard to find motivation to run it again even though I really like the game. Even if you don't want to run full game, there's still a bunch of potential for strat finding, so if you enjoy the routing part of speedruns this game would be a good pick. If you could find a way to make minimum glides (9 glides) easier you would be a hero.
