Right now, my run is placed second on the leaderboard with a time of 1:23.883, and Akuretaki's run is timed at 1:23.617. However, both of our videos are at 30 frames per second, which means the final time of our runs must be a multiple of 1/30, the length of 1 frame of video. This means that the runs must be timed wrong. I double checked and the times for both runs are 1:23.833, and I have proof that these times are correct, as shown in the below video:

I'm not sure how the incorrect times were gotten, but I believe that my run and Akuretaki's runs were retimed using a different frame as the starting point, and the retime tool that the moderator uses defaults to 60fps, resulting in the discrepancies. I retimed both of the runs in the video using the first frame that the screen brightens after the fade in, but the timer in Akuretaki's video starts roughly .2 seconds after the screen initially brightens, when the screen brightens for the second time. It's actually somewhat difficult to tell when the screen starts to fade, so I suggest that the timing rules be changed so that a more clear starting frame is used, such as first movement or the first frame the inside of the house is visible.

Include "Dubai" and "Delhi" there are a lot of bots that are from there. Also add "travel"

I think that the categories are fine, but they aren't worth adding unless someone does a run for them. Otherwise the categories will all be empty. The game isn't very active in the first place anyways. If you do a run of them, message the moderators and ask them to add the category and they might add it.

this series was added to the site after the request rules got stricter, and when it was added it only had 3 games. It now has 4 games, but it still proves that you only need 3.

I'm pretty good at 2D platformers, which is why almost all of the games that I run are part of that genre. I have a lot of world records across a lot of different games, but the individual game that I'm the best at is probably Mobility. I've played it a lot, so much that I have over 500 hours in it. It's my favorite game to speedrun and I've been grinding it on and off for going on 3 years now. I don't have the world record in every category, but in the ones I do have world record in, my time is pretty far ahead of most others.

My most liked forum post says "to get to the other side" and has 18 likes. About a year ago I posted a thread called "6 months from now, I will post the punchline to this joke" and the post itself was the setup for the chicken crossing the road joke. Unfortunately you can't delete runs until your account is a week old. You should probably resubmit your run, and explain what happened in the description. The moderator of the game can then delete your old run and verify the new one.

Be patient and after 3 weeks have passed, reach out to them on youtube or discord and ask them to verify your run. I had a game deleted by staff because I got a game request accepted while I was taking a break from the site. Starsmiley sent me a DM about it so I assume it was done manually

Games that are "short/trivial" might not be accepted to the site, but I know of several game jam games that were added. It can't hurt to request whatever game you're thinking of, because there's always a chance it'll get added.

@Tyron18 is very dominant on the Super Mario Odyssey leaderboards. There are 7 main categories, and Tyron has world record in the 4 most popular ones. In Any%, Tyron has the only 56 minute time. In World Peace, Tyron has the only 1:11 time. In Dark Side, Tyron has the only 1:39 time. In Darker Side, Tyron has the only 3:02 time. He is so dominant at the game that nobody can manage to get a time in the same minute range as he can. Considering how competitive SMO speedrunning is, that's a super impressive feat.

I like 2D platformers and webgames, for pretty much the same reasons that people like hahhah, sandstorm, oreo, and output mentioned. Almost all of the games I run are 2d platformers I find on sites like newgrounds, itch.io, or coolmath. I like doing short speedruns because I like optimizing my times. Longer runs aren't as fun because you can't do harder strategies, and you have to focus much more on consistency than strategies or movement. As a result, finishing a long run is much less satisfying than finishing a short run for me.
