as speedrun.com isn't giving out notifications for when someone puts a request here, the moderation team has decided to move the requesting rom hack process to our Discord Server which can be found here: https://discord.gg/BYrpMBG
Head over there to #fullgame-speedruns and look out for a pinned message from AussieAdam, explaining what needs to be fullfilled in order to get your hack added! If you had requested a rom hack to be added in the past but no action was taken, go ahead and post it over there again, the moderation team will discuss it afterwards.

It´s an official released version so it´s allowed.
Mario´s little Odyssey has been added.
Super Banjo Kazooie 64 REDUX (Demo), Bloo Star Adventure, Portal Mario 64 and Super Mario the Galactic Journey have been added. Super Mario Odyssey 64 has been added a while ago in case nobody has noticed. The Rest have been rejected due being too memey or missing effort/competition.
He is using an earlier version of the Game. Rocks were added later.
Such rom hacks (just a modification of the original sm64) won´t be added until it got quite a lot competiton since we decided having a leaderboard for only one run is senseless
Back then in 2015 already i believe 20 star was already a thing, but as race category mostly, you could compare this pretty well to either Sunshine 20 Shines or Star Road 20 stars. However, people seem to have fun with this category and it´s sort of competitive so yeah.
a little update about the current situation: After more discussions and more opinions from different people, we decided that v1.1 is gonna be allowed to use for runs, but it´s gonna be as misc categories. But it will still be banned for using it for savestateless playthroughs that will be out on reddit to make that clear.
v1.1 is banned for speedruns and savestateless playthroughs which will be put on reddit due the fact that it will be disrespectful over the others, especially considering how many have beaten that hack and how many runs have been completed. We discussed that quite a while and that was our solution, that being said for Night of Doom.
