Super Pac-Man was also released for a Pac-Man Plug & Play system made by Bandai.
Sure! Here's a link to the emu that I used for my run: https://www.retrogames.cc/arcade-games/super-pac-man.html
The audio might be bad, but it works!
I have a ROM just like that!
Yeah, I think that the original version and the SNES versions should have different leaderboards.
I don't get what you mean. I'm a young speedrunner.
Dude, you don't need to make 2 forums about 1 subject. It makes no sense!
I use a ROM that only has SMB1 on it.
Say if I beat 8-4, once I'm done, am I allowed to make a savestate so if I fail a run I can just load up that savestate from the end of 8-4?
Hi, I'm just wondering for the 2nd Quest categories if savestates are allowed once you beat a quest.
Thanks!
That's why I put "Just in case" at the beginning.
Just in case if ANYONE was to complain about the rule "All Runs Require Videos", think of it this way:
What if there was someone who saw the SMB1 leaderboards without even KNOWING the game and submitted a run IF runs were allowed without films. All that person would do is without playing SMB1 on an Emulator, or a Nintendo console, they would just submit a run with a time slower than the video requirement time with no video AND experience of the game at all.
It would be completely unfair if runs didn't need a video and someone just went and submitted a run without playing the game. So I think that "All Runs Require Videos" is a great change for the SMB1 leaderboards.
BTW, if ANYBODY asks me what to do if they have NO way to record, here's my answer: I DON'T KNOW!!!!!!!!
Yes, but you only have one run. The 2nd requirement states: The user must have at least 5 runs for the game. So, you can't be a mod just yet.
Why not just make a CE game for Mario Bros. and add those categories there? And a bunch of other categories you may come up with too.
