Unchecking "Runs require verification" in the 'edit game' menu sounds like it's exactly the option you're looking for :)

Other than the actual task being difficult, I don't see this being particularly speedrunnable, not really a way to speed anything up here (so basically an autoscroller).

Personally I'm not so much for removing categories. The difference here is that for SA there are quite a few full game runners and LS% was not particularly used much. For IV you're pretty much the only one doing full game runs, and removing the misc categories isn't suddenly going to change that. If this were different I might agree, but I prefer a misc category to an empty leaderboard. If it turns out the majority thinks otherwise, fair enough.

AoM is such a close spinoff to the series that it wouldn't make sense not to add it in here imo.

AoE leaderboards TriHard. Had been watching some of the existing ILs and thinking of running this (AoE2).

Personally I'd be in favour of IGT because no effort. You could avoid the cons of IGT that you mentioned by: -Disallowing pausing during a run (which honestly is not a particularly weird rule) -Forcing runs to be on a specific speed (which is a bad idea imo since it's a pretty arbitrary rule. I would say add game speed as a variable and just roll with that)

We won't add leaderboards without either the people in charge of the existing leaderboard (if there is one) requesting it or otherwise the community requesting it, as it is the community that maintains the leaderboard, ofc.

You should consider adding it to the guides section, makes a bit more sense there.

When does a run start, when does it end? You need to give a bit more information before we can consider adding it, though I'm not convinced adding it is a good idea if the category is what I think it is.

I don't really see what the respawning Wang Cars glitch is if not a glitch. If you absolutely want to have it in there, call the category "no EE glitch" or whatever, but a glitchless category with glitches is bs :P.

Static addresses only depend on the global pointer to the process, dynamic addresses depend on pointers within the game (eg. player pointer, vehicle pointer, model pointer, stats pointer, wanted pointer etc etc etc) For example, player health is [PlayerPointer]+0x354

Some of these categories already exist, be sure to click the "Show misc categories" button. Chaos% and Riot% exist as ROM Hacks for gta vc and 3 respectively ( http://www.speedrun.com/gtavc_chaos and http://www.speedrun.com/gta3riot ). With the new glitches vice city is so short that shakedown races dont really make sense anymore, but in general if there is interest in a non-standard category it can (will) be added as a misc category.
