Hello, I am Leafeon, and I'm trying to join the speedrunning community for mope.io. However, I've noticed a few inconsistencies with runs made in different times or versions. It can be easier or more difficult to complete a speedrun based on your version. It comes in a few forms, like different foods being able to be eaten by different tiers, new areas releasing, etc. This is why I propose that there are two different categories. Category 1: Newest Major Version and Category 2: Older Version. The first category would be the mainstream runs on the current version of mope.io with the desert, ocean, arctic, and land.* The second category would be older versions with different physics and gameplay. I hope you take this thread into consideration and try to see how my idea would work. If it doesn't work for some reason, that's fine, but thanks for reading anyway. *There will probably be new regions added to mope.io, so don't quote me on this.

Recently I've been attempting sub 1:05 (no loads) banned runs, but have noticed something. A lot of things that would get you suspended / banned are only giving you the inappropriate behavior message instead of suspending you. If you have anything besides 'you are a beach' that currently gets you banned, please type it in here.

I think that there should be a separate category for runs called "No loads" the meaning of it is pretty self explanatory, all loading screens, NPC's loading, and lag in general don't affect the time of your run.

If you get no deaths you basically have a perfect run.

When it come to gems and courage, this website is pretty bland. We currently have no courage section, and only 2 gems sections. What I think could make these two things a LOT better on here is to give them each their own little section, like gems and courage respectively. For the gems section, it would be collecting a certain amount of gems. I'd like to see the following in there: 3,000 Gems, 5,000 gems, 10,000 Gems, 20,000 Gems and last but not least, 25,000 Gems. For the courage section, I would like to see: Level 2, Level 3, Level 5, Level 8, Level 10 and Level 16. Also, I think all of the games should be in their own section, Games. I know this isn't as long as my other posts, and that's because I was trying something new, like not filling up the entire writable area. Also, have a courageous day! -Leafeon

Because some players have higher framerates than others, even if their times are the same, the one with a lower framerate will have a worse time. We need to find a way to calculate framerates in a good and reliable way so people with over 35fps won't just get the world records every time. For the idiots who think that the times will be the same, THE TIMER KEEPS GOING, BUT THE GAME DOESN'T WHEN THERE ARE FRAMEDIPS, BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO CLICK TO MOVE, AND WHEN YOUR GAME ISN'T RESPONDING, BUT YOUR TIMER IS, YOU WILL LOSE TIME. Ok, got that out of the way. Now, for how we are going to do this. If you have a game that runs at 15 FPS, it will be reduced by 2x/4x so if I had a 4 minute run on overflow 10 levels hard, and I had a 15fps game, then it will be 1 minute run. If I had a 45 fps computer, it would be a bit harder. What would need to happen in this situation is we would divide 60 by 45, and the quotient is what we divide the run by. Anybody's head ouching yet? Well, I'm about to make it a even more complicated, Say that we had a 37 fps computer, and we had a 1:14:2.82 run for getting a gold brick, that would be very hard to calculate. I'm probably going to use a few calculators on my journey, since a lot of these equations will be arbitrary numbers, but It won't help, because I am struggling to find calculators that use time. So It'll take me a long time before I am able to do this. If anybody could help me, I'll send them an unfinished spreadsheet of what I currently have completed. If you have any questions, or want to help me do this, reply to this thread, or PM me on discord. (Leaf Adam Alone#5413) I hope you have a great day! -Leafeon

Fastest time to get a set adventure level. If you disagree or don't know what this is, I will elaborate.

Around 6-7 months ago, the AJ speedrunning community had this realllly slow was of getting gems. Basically, you camp in Jamaa Township and play Jamaa Derby. This method gets around 1.5 gems per second (if done perfectly with good RNG!) Then, I came around with a pretty shoddy run, but my method was significantly better than the previous record, the record was lowered from around 9.5 minutes, to 3.5 minutes. Then, I had another run and got a 3:04 3k gems and 10:19 5k gems. After that, coltranepop came around with their superior internet and almost got a sub 3. Now, everybody here just does the Training Grounds thing to get there very fast. But, there may be certain hidden areas that give around 500 gems for finding them, such as in Return of the Phantoms, hard difficulty. Or, in Meet Cosmo, hard difficulty. I will put some mathematical calculations in to see whether one method or another is better. There are a lot of ways to get gems, so this will be very tedious and will take a long time. If you have any ideas on how to get gems fast, please tell me. Thanks! - Leafeon

Animal Jam is a humongous game. Over 160 million people have made an unique Animal Jam account. Yet, there aren't even five speedrunners here! If you have friends that like to do stuff fast, and or like animals, please introduce them to here. If you can, advertise on big channels like Aparri, Bepper & WisteriaMoon. I made A quick video of me doing a little bit of advertising here. Each player we have here will give us a like. To find the comments, just go to newest, because then you can just go to our comments.

Game 1: Falling Phantoms. Reason(s): On a timer so kinda the opposite of speedrunning.

Game 2: Spider Zapper. Reason(s): On a timer so kinda the opposite of speedrunning. This is kind of nearly able to make it because of the levels and stuff, but the Falling Phantoms dilemma strikes it.

Game 3/4: Sky High & Wind Rider. These two games are very similar. But one is going down and the other one is going up. These game have the same Falling Phantoms dilemma, another one bites the dust.

Game 5: Touch Pool. No explanation needed.

Games 6-13: All the buddy games, your pick, I'm too lazy.

Game 14: The Claw. No explanation needed.

Game 15: but actually 2 games: Best Dressed x2. No this game is on a timer.

Game 17: Temple of Trivia. Basically Best Dressed but biology class instead.

Game 18: Long Shot. This one is close, because distance maybe be a variable, but 1, the game is luck for how far you go. FInally, 2, Seriously, LONG SHOT?!?!?! (P.S. I can explain in detail if you don't know why.)

Game 1: Overflow. This game I have already talked about so you can visit the thread to it here.

Game 2: Fast Foodies. While this game is not a real arcade game that you can buy in Sol Arcade, I still would classify it as a game. The reason that I think this game should be added is pretty self-explanatory, but if you don't know why, I will tell you why I think so. First off, the game is literally a game ABOUT speedrunning, so if this speedrunning game isn't one of the game on the speedrunning website, I'll be pretty triggered. Secondly, it has the same food servings for each and every customer every single time, so grinding it will actually be useful. The third reason that I present is that Fast Foodies is one of the few Animal Jam games that features levels. When it is divided into sections, and not just one but mess means that it will be open for different types of speedrunning.

Game 2.5: Gem Breaker. (To Be Continued)

So for the speedrun.com Animal Jam section is very empty, so I have an idea for a game that should be implemented in.

I think that Overflow, With hard easy and medium categories included. The reason for this is because that Overflow is one of the few games where you can't really lose, but it is more of how much time you take on it. For instance, if a Falling Phantoms speedrunning section was added, it would make n sense, since Falling Phantoms is a survive-this-long-to-win game. Overflow is the complete opposite of this. I hope this has shone you how any why this minigame should be in the Animal Jam speedrunning website. Have a great day! -Leafeon
