maybe you can only do 40 seconds baloons? or have difrent catogories (less than 20 seconds more than 20 seconds)

I want to start speedrunning another platformer (under 2 hours to beat) any suggestions.

wouldnt that only be any% but just longer the only place i know where you teleport to a checkpoint or warp is snow, seaside, metro(warp), (maybe sand)

its sort of a min captures run but you must do min caputres fro the story then all aum moons that dont require captures. so its a minium captures run with all the moons that dont require captures.

i want to record my Nintendo switch without a capture card ( i currently use a phone but would like to get better quality) the only vids i found on youtube were the 30-second method. is their any other alternatives

for individual levels, you should just have them as different categories so you don't use as much room and its neater

If this catogoires need more runners to be on SMOCE i could make a individual level SMO on speedrun.com should i do that?

Probally a good base line would be all the full game runs but for individual levels, and only a few new ones

I am wondering how it is timed since I didn't understand the rules,

is it timed by each individual race and nothing else, or is it timed by each individual race and getting back to the odysee going to kingdom to kingdom and all of that??

it would be interesting I would try to run it for fun!

I think people would enjoy a category like super Mario 64 where at every moon you go back to the odyssey!

does the in-game sound need to be hearable in the video for the run?

do you need the music for the runs? i was not sure.
