i want to record my Nintendo switch without a capture card ( i currently use a phone but would like to get better quality) the only vids i found on youtube were the 30-second method. is their any other alternatives

Looking at your phone recording of your Switch run, you could definitely significantly improve your quality by recording the video in Landscape mode (with the phone horizontally) instead of in Portrait mode (vertically), that would give you a much better view of the game. Also, if you're able to play in TV mode you can probably get a much better setup that way.

All that said though, no matter what you do, the quality ceiling for what you can do with a phone (or any digital camera pointed at your screen) is pretty low. If you want decent quality you're just gonna have to get a capture card. There's really no way around that.

ok i will try landscape mode. already have switched to tv mode just haven't submitted those runs yet
