an IL board is not necessary for a game with 3 inactive runners from 5 years ago
@DaTroll18 no @patgaming88 yes, you can't have your "first click" if you've clicked on previous ascensions. of course it requires a hard reset.
Please remember to do the courtesy of not lagging your software like the WR holder does :)
That's a can of worms I don't think is good to open, but I'm open to other feedback and knowledge aside from faster resets.
None are considered acceptable by every community that I'm aware of.
Do you have an accurate PS2 emulator?
I would love it if upon submitted a new run, every user was redirect to their https://www.speedrun.com/pendingactions page instead of back to the board they submitted to. This would give them an often much needed second glance at their run so they can make an edit before moderators actually see it. It would show any glaring errors they may have made such as submitting to the wrong category, having a higher or lower than expected ranking (due to incorrect category or time typo), or seeing a 033 decimal instead of a 330 decimal, for example.
you could check a run to see if it's used.
As per the rules, the timing "ends on cutscene after Solgryn kill." Since the cutscene never plays and the credits don't roll, this would not count unfortunately. It does seem that you had another 20 minutes to finish up the fight, so I don't think it's a fair assessment to say it ruined your PB run (I know your post isn't asking for advice, but it's usually a good idea to know backups for when things don't go as planned). I'm certain that another mod could give more input on this as it's very likely to have happened to somebody before.
Context clip for the next people to see this:
according to the rules - It’s recommended to have clearly audible game music and sounds in your video proof.
But, there are plenty of IL runners that don't follow this recommendation and there hasn't been an issue (that I am aware of). If you could mute the game music but leave sound effects on that's probably more acceptable than muting the game altogether. Good luck with runs.

I know that at least Crash 2 had this at one point. It was probably removed because it's incredibly inactive. I would recommend you make yourself a spreadsheet and track your own times if you would like to improve or have fun with it.

Do you run your game from an external HDD, internal HDD, or SSD? Personally I use an external HDD for all my steam games which isn't a good idea, so if it's related to that I probably have the bad loads sometimes as well.
Have you tried using external software or your graphics card settings to force V-Sync? I know that it's not an option in game, and I believe it just skips visual frames as Gappo said. I think V-Sync might show all frames, but actually lose you time if the game MUST lag, so it could be a bad solution depending on your PC. Also run the game in high priority.
The way I did it was I used debug mode for the game and looked at the levels in the map. Hovering over a room showed a room ID. Put that room ID into the "Level (on enter)" or "Level (on exit)" in the autosplitter settings, depending on what you want to do. Play around with it a bit and you'll find a configuration that works for you.
