Beat the festival in New Donk City as fast as possible from a new file. Timing starts on file select and ends on grabbing the multi-moon "A traditional festival" in the Metro Kingdom. Use of Amiibo, 2p mode, co-op, or the 1.0.0-exclusive First Moon Skip are banned.
Those are currently the longest 6 hours of my life. Who elses?
The Set Seed WR holder said on YouTube that he would opt for running on Hardcore in the future. If the mods agree to adjust the rules to fit Dinnerbone's original challenge, no run that will stay a PB for long will be lost
In Dinnerbone's original post, he wanted the challenge to be done on Hardcore difficulty. What was the reasoning for not adding this rule? Nice WR btw, just kinda not in the spirit of Dinnerbone's challenge
Suggest a category, get 5 people (possibly including yourself) to run it, and it will be added
The only other outfit categories I see making sence are Chef% (skip from Lake/Wooded to Bruncheon), Bone% (9999 coins and Any%), or maybe Grand Dad% (revisit Cascade for the caveman outfit)
Let's lose Chapter 8 on Easy on different settings and see how long it takes.
Ah, so half of the survivals are missing because of version differences. That explains it then, I think however the category should be renamed into something like All Normal Survivals
Yeah it does. So distinguishing between random and set seed probably makes sense. I did a 54:27 Random seed run today. As soon as I find a good set seed and get a good time with it, I'm going to try and share it
Timing should start on IGT start of the first race and end on IGT end of the last race imo

100%ing a campaign mission is defined by the "Guardian of the Realm" achievement. I did a run of the first mission:
3 more runs, nice dedication
If I take a game and click on "restart map", will it be the same map or a new random one? If it's the former, then doing scenarios with Set Seed should be perfectly fine with the current accessibility If it's the latter (and the same happens on your own saved game), then it's close enough to Random seed that I don't think we would even have to make a distinction between Set and Random Seed What I wouldn't want are imitations of scenario settings via the Endless game option
There are 11 options in the Survival tab: 5 normal survivals, 5 hard survivals, and endless. All survivals sounds like it would include both the normal and the hard survival minigames, and while that would be a long category, both "All survivals" and the category board in its entirety feel incomplete without them
Can a world be shared through the online option? Like if I upload a save and you can load it and restart the map? Or if that doesn't work, we could just run random or basically random seeds - the difference isn't as big as in Minecraft after all
