The starting screen is costing you 2-3 seconds with the latest patch of the game. There may be even better patches, and I may be wrong with some potential time save in other load screens/places, but I can consistently respawn at/under 6 seconds on 4.14. No sphere luck for me tonight. GL and happy hunting.

MEDI, You were 100% right with this topic. I need to be better. I forgot this was an Unrestricted/Restricted/Glitchless Category. I have mostly been running restricted so it entirely slipped my mind. Good call out!
The attempt for a second back bonus was really interesting! I never thought to try that. Nice run. Got a bit unlucky on that Mammorest damage too!
This run should be separate from Casual runs IMO. Double the resource drops means half the farming. Plus you are getting less exp than a casual per catch.

Rofl, I just read the 100% rules. With the current patch I highly doubt anyone can get all lifmunk + all tech and all in a reasonable time (under 24-30 hours) imo. So yea, I was thinking 100% as in all achievements/ Paldeck completion and will not be doing that.
Well, It may be 2 weeks from now, but I will definitely be submitting a run. No way I can beat a black marketeer run, nor will I ever subject myself to that, but it's cool to know I will have a run solidified finally.

I have been doing segmented runs for a while now. When I started a new segmented and saw I couldn't teleport I was devastated. It does affect my performance on my aging PC a bit, but it is still probably a huge timesave overall. Thanks for the reply on both my threads!
The tinyUrl in the the "Rules" for Restricted has it as a "Glitch". If it is not a rule break on restricted, I will find the time to do a run to 50 on casual.
As an aside, am I able to have that run also be a 100%/Complete Paldeck run combined in one?
With patch 2.1, respawning to points outside of the starting location is impossible unless multiplayer is selected. I believe that speedruns should be "Multiplayer 'OFF'" but my desire to collect desired locations with "multiplayer 'ON'" is strong and currently I don't see a rule for it.
Selfishly, I think direhowl dash should not be considered a glitch. It is one of the only semi-skill based movement abilities in the game and adds a lot of depth.
