Pedantry alert, but "IGT" should only be used for an actual In-Game Time (i.e. a time the game itself gives you, on some kind of stats screen). If your game does not itself a report a time, but you go back and manually remove loads times, that's "RTA No Load." Sometimes IGT doesn't accurately correspond to any actual time span in the real world, and thus gets disregarded.
Our next event is announced! Keep posted for more information. Just know right now, it'll be celebrating Xbox games just like Fleet Fest III celebrated PlayStation.
As I suspected, I was unable to keep the patch from applying long-term. I've gotten every trick post-patch (even the Garden OoB, still terrible at it though). I feel like I can cosign on the church escape being trickier? But I'll keep at it. I've got an interesting idea for this game I'd love to share with the community soon.
Submit any and every run you wish (provided they are all genuine sequential PB's). Mods should not reject submissions simply because better runs are also in the queue. Some runners like to document every single PB, some don't care to submit a 2 second PB when they know a 2 minute PB is perfectly possible. Either way is fine, though if these runs are WR's I'd encourage leaning more toward "submit everything" as it's more intrinsically part of the game's history.
@RadioGaming you don't appear to have a PB in this game, so monkaHmm
I've got every trick from the Guide tutorial learned except the very first one (cannot get the Garden OoB for the life of me). I think I'll be running this game somewhat soon.
So that's called "boosting." And it's pretty universally frowned upon. I mean ultimately, who gives a shit what anyone does with their free time, but I don't think most people would consider that valid or legitimate or respectable or anything like that.
Longer than YouTube can handle you say? https://www.adweek.com/performance-marketing/longest-youtube-video/
1.004 mentions "Today's patch also fixes a lot of out-of-world errors and soft-lock issues" - anything relevant to the any% speedrun? I've kept my PS5 from applying the update for now, but goodness knows I can't keep doing that forever.
this thread is over a year old how did you even end up here
Google, probably. Their account was made the day before this post.
I'm curious guys, what's the cutoff point for responding to a thread without people freaking out? Six months? A year? Obviously two years at minimum.
The rejecting mod should have included a reason why. If they didn't, that is a problem to take up with site staff.
Do be aware that this isn't always the result of someone being obnoxious. Very often the site will duplicate submissions.
Also, mods have three weeks to verify submissions before being deemed inactive. Patience, young padawan.
I don't particularly like how squished my games and times are on my profile page now, and by stuff I really don't give a wet fart about. I'm sure I'll eventually get used to it, but no, not a fan.
The only possible reason is because twitch periodically (like every 3 or 4 years or so) changes their backlinks, leading some people to incorrectly think their VOD's "had been deleted" (no, they're still there, they're just at a different URL). I can only assume twitch does as a bandwidth-saver, but YouTube obviously has even more videos and they've never (to my knowledge) done it.
Someone loses their mind about the necropost in 3....2...1...
I've usually seen UWR to mean "Uncontested World Record" (i.e. "I'm the only schmuck who's ever run this game").
