I found a clip to get into dark world faster. I found it accidentally on a road trip to Florida with my family. It saves time in 70 star, 16 star no lblj, and 120 star no lblj. The setup is easy, you open the 8 star door around the center, and hold up notch, long jump, and do 2 dives, and hold Neutral after the second one and when you land on the falling platform, immediately push B, you should clip into the floor, and enter dark world faster.

I think the only "as intended part" should be HOW you get the stars, not order. Glitches and tricks like cannonless, and island hop/sky jump. Glitches are different than tricks as tricks are not intended, but they do not take faulty code and use it for an advantage. Tricks would include island hop or sky jump, and owless, and side flipping to get the wild blue Star.

I thought of a route change for 16 star, and it may be faster than the current one, I have no idea yet. Thats why im posting it here just in case someone might know. In dark world backtracking for the reds loses some time to not doing reds. I have a route change that may save time over this. HMC BLJ is faster than Dark world reds as a whole, but there are more factors to it as well. My thought is this route: LBLJ Dark World No reds Grab the 3 normal stars in whomps (leave lobby with 3 stars.) Play the current route like normal untill LLL, OR HMC. In LLL do the second volcano star, OR in HMC do the HMC BLJ. I have no idea for sure if its faster, but it might be. If anyone can help with the route I would apprecieate it.

Does anyone know how to tas this game? On the bizhawk emulator every time i try to load up red blue or yellow, because it says it supports gameboy games, it says i dont have the correct frimwire or something. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this. I checked TAS videos, but couldn't find anything

The 30 star door and the level behind would still be loaded though right? If it is then what if you could generate enough speed to get past the key door, and into the 30 star door

In the wr video and in guides it doesn't nickname pikachu a one character name. Even though he isnt used much in the run wouldnt it still save a little time?

I would say, all coins including rng coins, and talk to all signs not just touch them. Also, allow glitches

I am able to record, but i can't upload it to You tube. I know how to, but I just can't and that's that's for now. I am in the process of getting it fixed but for a while I can't upload anything. Does it have to be on YouTube?

Hi, i wanted to know how to upload runs. Due to certain complications, i can not live stream my runs, and i cant upload them to you tube. If i ever become a top level player (which is highly unlikely) then i might be able to live stream attempts, and upload them to yt, however, now i cannot. I have a 16 star run submitted, but its not on the leaderboards, and whenever i got to pending actions and hit the rejected tab, it shows up, but i never got a reason as to why it was rejected. I really want to have runs on the leader board, so if there is anything i can do to fix this please let me know. Also let me know if i was unclear on anything.

I can't seem to find a blastoise route guide for pokemon blue. Is there one out there that anyone can show me. I tried the nidoran route, and i dont like it as much. Can someone show me a guide for the Blastoise route? I would really appreciate it.

i think the perfect swimming in JRB will not be counted as a glitch, neither will kicking up slopes. I think the rule should be anything that is obviously a glitch is banned. Ex: cannonless, pillarless, groundpounding through whomp king, door glitch in BBH, breezeless

I have a catagory idea for 70 star and 120 star. glitchless would imply that tricks are still allowed. an example is sky jump in BOB would be allowed but bob omb clip would not be allowed. Flyguyless would be, but pillarless would not be. in 120, lblj would not be allowed, nor would the JRB clip for jet stream to skip metal cap. taking advantage of the fact that hmc does not have a celling is allowed. in JRB, the cannonless that Cheese uses is allowed as it is not a glitch, however framewalk would not be allowed. in 120 because you need the metal cap for JRB, it would require a small route change, just do CCM where JRB would normally be done, and after you get the vanish cap, do JRB instead. kicking up slopes is allowed, and triple jumping up slopes is also allowed. tricks are allowed, but glitches are not.

it is not on PAL version, I cant get a video now, but it does this because in the spot that you do the jump, after the wall-jump a backwards bump immeadietly follows. its complicated you have to see it to believe it. I did it at least 20 times on nestopia UE version, and on switch. i know how far it pushed me because on the emu, i use the pellson rom

This could be big, this could be nothing but I think i found something. In 4-2 there is a walljump at the beginning of the level that moves mario's x position to 131. The minimum for the wrong warp to work is 132. If there is sub pixel manipulation to move him forward 1 more pixel it could save a framerule over lightning 4 2. I will have a video on the jump within the next 2 weeks.
