All new skips are posted in the discord. You're going to find everything there
So far, the latest version, 1.1.0, will be the version required for runs
Verifier applications among leaderboard arrangements and rules will be considered during the embargo period and soon after. If you want a better shot at being considered for the job, I suggest you join the Discord server and are moderately involved in the community since that is a basic expectation for all verifiers.
There aren't really any walkthroughs of the game but for the minimal glitches, you're best checking the big limit categories. Finding a run that uses English will be hard since it's not the fastest language for most runs.
No, the game must be closed between attempts anyway which would clear any offsets
This question has come up many times before and the answer is that emulators are still too inaccurate for this game to be accepted to the leaderboards in any way. Unlike older games on emulators that work almost identically to when played on console, there is too much variation in factors such as loads and other small things.
There is nothing stopping you running this game on emulators, we just won't be accepting those runs to the leaderboards
As I said in my previous post, glitches like Dead Link Inventory strip all control of Link besides being able to open the menu. This is also only possible using this korok ( ) which requires all runes, at which point this is completely useless, not to mention we can't move once off plateau and it's just completely useless.
And, the 'barrier' isn't a physical barrier, it is instead the border of the region of the map that has a coordinate check running every frame. It cannot be bypassed as it will be constantly checking his coordinates, although, as you said this may not be applicable in divine beasts.
Firstly, it's impossible to setup blss before/during any cutscenes since we are instantly stripped of control of Link the second we step out of the shrines and for the glider cutscene, Link needs to be touching the floor to activate the cutscene. There's also the point that the bomb Link is carrying is despawned during that cutscene and he is also taken out of the smuggling state.
Unfortunately all death glitches I can bring to mind render the game softlocked until Link's taken out of whichever state he was put in. Also, the 'barrier' as it has been come to be known is in fact the border of the region of the map with a coordinate check running every frame so you even if you go beyond this border, you will eventually be voided out.
I don't have any knowledge of any glitches that can be used to quickly warp into divine beasts from the start of the game besides moonjump wrong warp but using it across save files is banned. Another key point in the entire plat skip research process is trying to find a way to skip it without losing time over just doing plat normally, which these proposed theories would most certainly fail at if they were possible.
This is essentially just the any% route up to bombs and I highly doubt it'd be added, especially since multiple people have suggested this before.
However, we do have one category that does get the switch shirt, though it's not the only goal of the run:

'when you start the quest' is a very open and loose starting time, especially given there are many separate dlc quests you haven't specified.
There are leaderboards for just ToTS and the Final Trial on their own however: https://www.speedrun.com/botw/level/Trial_of_The_Sword https://www.speedrun.com/botw/level/The_Divine_Trial
There have been runs of this before actually. I can't find any route docs but the best time I can find is a 3:30:20
http://bombch.us/DX1a this is the current most up-to-date full celer route but its not the run world record uses and that route is still constantly changing. I'd recommend joining the discord for all 100% resources
Unfortunately this glitch doesn't have any uses speed-wise but I thought that someone reading this might be interested in this anyway. Basically, if you shoot backwards while collecting the gem, you get put in a weird state where you seem to control the projectile but the game also makes you take control of a random enemy. Funnily enough, in the chest room, you take control of the chest rather than the mini boss (though this isn't showcased in the video).
Controlling it and which room you want to enter is pretty finnicky and I haven't quite worked it out. Anyway, here's a demo
