The fastest korok is straight after purah pad and there's nothing unique about it. Having certain numbers for sure would be great to have again (10, 100, all, all buddy koroks, korok regions).
Emulators are nowhere near accurate enough yet to accept them to the boards, but that doesn't stop you from running the game, you just can't submit. There will also be no emulator-only category for the time being if that is your follow-up question
Look at the forest, press d-pad right (or left) twice, pause and unpause twice, and you should have the ragdoll cancel . If not, just repeat until you do
As legendary and unique of a category this was in BotW, for TotK, it really feels like another GSI + one more thing which we are trying to avoid.
And as a bit of a criticism of the timing rules: the splash from the rake must be seen so the run can be timed accurately, otherwise you're ending on gut feeling which doesn't really work.
But at least it's nice to see someone proposing a category and to actually have run it for once :)
'Sleep Breaks Rules:
Runners are allowed to pause the timer and have a break from the run. Maximum 3 breaks within an 18 hour pool. After the 20 hour mark, and every 20 hours after, the runner gains 3 extra break and 18 hours added to their pool.'

For Mech%, it sounds like another GSI + one more thing category, however, there likely will be an IL of the spirit temple so that can be run on its own. You could also just run AD or AMQ since that beats it but I doubt there'll be a run that exclusively beats one dungeon.
As for MS speedruns, it will be one of the categories added at a later date, currently the ruleset is being figured out but it will be added when its ready.
Or maybe drop the percentage and call it something more reasonable like All Addison Signs which is more informative about what the category is
A big thing that needs to be considered when coming up with extension categories is how arbitrary the goal is. For example, the first two suggestions are quite arbitrary and many other goals would have very similar routes. However, I do like the idea of All Kohga Encounters which is loosely related to the third suggestion but removes the randomness of needing to 'eat at least 1 banana before each fight' and being forced to get down to a quarter heart
All categories that aren't currently listed are still being developed. In other words, the definitions for the categories and what will be required have not yet been worked out
Methods of beating the game gliderless are being worked on. Currently the Colgera fight kind of forces the need to get it at the moment but it may be skippable sometime in the near future
