Well, that's a fun one!
Indeed... the site has a lot of bad URL choices, with a lot of sharp edge cases. And yes, "forums" are indeed just another type of game - it's not pretty. We are actively working on improving these types of things, but there's a lot there. It's taking some time, but we're working through it at a good pace.
I managed to rename your game back to where it was, and we'll soon add functionality to prevent similar issues from happening in the future.
New comment here. I hope @gu3st likes it.
Hey folks, thanks for the heads up.
We intended to enable theme favicons on game/series community pages, not user themes - this should be fixed now.
Also: let us know here if you think user theme favicons would be a good or bad thing and we can evaluate for the future!
Thanks for the report, we're looking into this!
Update: this should be fixed now.
Hi folks, thanks for the feedback. To clarify why the site is much, much, much faster when you aren't signed in: it's that you're getting cached pages. The SRC codebase is old and was not at all designed for the type of load the site gets today. Additionally, it's not structured in a way that easily allows us to leverage that edge caching for signed in users. We (Elo) have been incrementally improving the performance of major site functions, and there's a nice infrastructure upgrade coming soon, but there's still a lot left to fix (forums, notifications, etc).
I promise this is among our top priorities and we're actively working on it.
Hi all,
This was an error of omission as we updated the TOS for other reasons (it's pretty standard boilerplate, but needs to be there). We have not made any change to how runs (or other community metadata or resources) are licensed or made accessible. To make that perfectly clear, we've re-introduced the language making it clear that all submissions are made accessible under the original CC license.
To clarify our stance on the topic, we strongly believe in SR.C as an open platform for use by communities, and we have no interest in restricting access to any runs or community resources. We see it as our duty to keep this information available online forever.
I'm sorry for the miscommunication (it was my mistake) and will be more careful in the future. With that said, please understand that while Elo is a company, it's run by people (myself included) who truly do care about the core mission of the site - helping communities organize, grow, and preserving history. The last thing we want to do is restrict access to resources that are owned by the community.
Thanks for reading. I hope it alleviates your concerns. I'm happy to elaborate if anything is unclear.

Thanks for the detailed report. Just like in the other thread ( https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/jd4ik ), we're aware of a few weird issues around profile and theme management for some users, and will fix them in relatively short order as part of a general cleanup effort. No ETA, but you shouldn't be waiting for too long.
Hey everyone, sorry for the delay in getting this resolved. These should load now, and performance should also be much better on pages with lots of IL runs. Thanks again for your patience as we make some of these gnarly under-the-hood changes to the site.
Hi all, thanks for your patience as we got this up and running, and thanks for the bug reports. We just deployed a patch to fix the runs issue and include social media accounts in the payload. Please keep the feedback coming and let us know if you run into any issues!
Hi there, thanks for the detailed report. I apologize for the weirdness here; this should be resolved now. If you have a game with a run that is still not showing up properly, go ahead and re-verify the run - that should sort it out.
For context, we've been working on some performance improvements and it looks like there was a bug related to cache invalidation. Don't worry - there shouldn't be multiple copies of the same run, it was just showing up in an "old place" rather than where it should have been.
Please let me know if you continue to experience any issues. Again, pardon the dust and thanks for your patience as we make improvements!
@MarthSR thanks - we may not always respond immediately but I promise we're reading/listening and working hard to improve the site. Annoying bugs like this shouldn't linger too long, and we have a bunch of improvements in development right now. We're also continually working on site stability and performance improvements. I appreciate your enthusiasm and hope to not let you down :)
Hey folks, sorry - my fault. We're working on pretty significant under-the-hood changes and a bug slipped through. This should be fixed now!
Also: yes, site having some performance issues the last few days. We're working on it and appreciate your patience!
